1. Might be just me being rubbish but it looks to me like he's just got his bass and amp..no fx.
2. What's the general opinion of the newer oc-3? I havn't tried one out yet but they look like they do about the same and a bit more. MXR do a wicked one too, worth checking out.
3. Hey mate, sorry but I don't think I can justify having another bass. The reason I am selling one is that im really only using one at the mo, my 6 string fretless. Don't blame you for trying though. Good luck to you too!
4. Damn!! They're some cheap prices! It's a shame I'm not in need, it would be nice to see more deals like this around.
5. Sorry just saw the cash only post. Watch this space, I have been after one of these for quite some time!
6. Don't suppose you're after a trade for a bass? Cort Curbow 5 string, with Bartonlini pickup and preamp. I've got it up for £200, but would be willing to drop for a straight swap?
7. Bump! There must be somebody who wants a lovely lovely bass for a decent price
8. Ahh cheers for letting us know man. Yeah I think we can all agree its a bit pricey for bedroom use, shame it didn't fit with your set up. That red dragon looks pretty tasty too good luck with it!
9. OOO let us know how it sounds! I've been drooling over these since I saw them come out!
10.
Hey, is this still for sale? Looks amazing!
Hey bud, yeah still for sale. PM me for details etc.
11.
my situation has changed since the original post. the ampeg is no more and has a hartke kilo destined to replace it, which is a 3u. so with only 1u remaining i'm going to try it with a midiverb 4 i have been gifted. it seems to give me what i need, just want to try it at volume. I've given up on the tuner front for now. The Boss pedal is very easy to use live so i'll probably stick with that. And if anybody wants to buy a 6 colour LED rack light, never used, let me know. I have one kicking around................
Just wondering, what's that midiverb4 like? It looks pretty neat!
12. It sounds like you would benefit from either a 4x10 or a 2x15 depends if you want a real punchy sound or a smooth round sort of sound. Personally I would probably go for a 4x10. Any of the above named are worth a go, the best advice really though is to just go out and try as many as you can and really get a feel for the different tonal characteristics you like.
13. Currently ive got a peavey tour 700 going into a numark 1900w power amp from the effects out. Use a tuner too, cant have a rack without one really! Ive thought about compressors or rack eq's etc instead of essentially having 2 heads making it silly heavy but it just sounds so good!
14. By looking that doesn't look like a bad amp to start out with, especially for bedroom use you can't really go wrong.
15. Sorry for the late reply, the case i got from the bass merchant in Colchester, its just a universal case, I put a t-shirt in with it under where the neck rests so that it stays put. This has a Bartonlini mk1 pickup and preamp..really does sound the nuts!
16. Have you thought about the mxr m80. Its a wicked unit, great with both passive and active bass, I use one all the time and I use an active bass. Worth all the money spent on it, its a really flexible little unit, its got a d.i out as well as your normal out and it has a parallel out too! Saying that though, that darkglass unit sounded yummy!
