1. Updated
I'm just a tad irrate right now but for me UPS want shafting!
Sorry to hear about this, John. I'm watching your thread with concern, and hope that you get it sorted quickly and calmly. The first thing I do in that sort of situation is take a long walk. That way nothing/no one around the house gets broken.
2. Flip it around. I'd hate myself if I didn't encourage my hypothetical other half.
3. Just popped on. An Ibanez Blazer Precision http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ibanez-Blazer-Precis...emZ330237593874
4. Keep in mind that a bass has a lot of traveling to do. A set up costs about £25. It's the quality of the materials that's important. It's not the manufacturer who I first chastise when a bass isn't setup right in-shop.
5. I've heard Santana owes quite a lot to his Indian rosewood fb. It's worth keeping in mind that pre-CBS Fenders had Brazilian rosewood FBs.

No one needs transport like they need music. except the deaf, obviously.
7. Nice to meet you too. Welcome to Basschat.
8. I like Greco basses, you do sometimes see them on UK ebay. The 'Greco' badge is very attractive, and I love the zany names.

11.
It's an instrument?
I spent a few minutes deliberating what I should call it. I was quite wrong.
12. I'm sure there are a few '70s Fenders that are unplayable by now. I don't think I'd pay much for a naff one. I wouldn't pay anything if it's too heavy.
13.
what about this then!!!!!!!
That link seems a bit out of context. To be honest, I just hate to see that instrument.
14. Looking forward to this considering what how well that P went. And it's a good start, I'd say.
15. It's expensive. But no doubt someone will love the look of it. 18. Welcome to BC, Rob.
19. He says he is 15 on his profile. His username has 1993 in it. His username has Will in it. His. You're all nuts.
20.

I feel like all my instincts are being manipulated.
21. I didn't think it very musical, but I'll put that down to my own ignorance. Although, that's me being humble. I think that I'm right.
22. HB, BC and Terry. I love you.
