1. Natural, looks awesome
2. I tried a cv and a vm j in a shop today and they all felt like cheapy basses, couldn't detect the near mythical amazingness I'm afraid, they just felt like decent basses for the price point :/
3. Thanks for the tip matey! I was considering a cheapy j so won't be trying the vm, I'll go straight to cv now
4.
PMd!
...and replied matey looper sold
5. [s]For sale (as I've just bought something a teensy bit cheeky): my Keeley modded TS-9, completely as new, bought to see if it was the sound I was after and it's not so here it is, used once at home, totally unmarked and with all original bits&bobs! £130 inc uk shipping Bright Onion true bypass blender/looper, completely as new, bought to try with the TS9+ above and since that's up on here so might this as well be. £65 collected sfx custom made interface box, bought recently as I thought it'd come in handy with my new board build but I've actually got all the bits I need without it so it's back on here for the same as I paid for it. £50 inc uk shipping custom made looper by one of our own bc'ers, I've another like this so this one is no longer required. passive operation, a very simple fx loop, power is only required for the led. £20 inc uk shipping Local collection from Sheffield welcome as always, any questions about prices etc by pm please[/s]
6.
I think you should keep it Andy and start a Steel Panther type band
class comment mate! Alas I have neither the legs nor the hair for such an undertaking! There must be someone out there who has spandex-worthy legs!
7. Bump for an excellent compressor!
8. The ACG filter preamp sounds like exactly what you're talking about (or am I misunderstanding something)? Depending on where you live there'll be someone nearby who's got one and who would be more than happy for you to have a noodle to test out how the pre affects the sound?
9. I tried one of these many years ago (in the back-room of a little pub but that's another story) and seriously loved it! It's now the jazz that all other jazzes I try are measured against and none have measured up (yet).
10.
Pups will be ready next week. Apart from these, the bass is now virtually complete. The dots have arrived from Japan - 60mm this time! Just a couple of decisions still to be made. The pups, upon the suggestion of Allighat0r, may go green. We'll have a look with them natural and make a decision. This has a nice look though (note they couldn't get the ripples gong the same way as the neck either):
Aesthetically pleasing to have the neck colour continue into the body area, tying the two together. Neither green or natural would be functinally different either so no utility issues there.
11. Steve and I just completed a postal trade, all went without a hitch and everything arrived as promised. All good new here too! Recommended bc'er. Thanks matey!
12. these are quality pedals and sound superb, I love mine!
13. They sound a bit like maroon 5 but with a better singer, same cheesy pop songs and sound but superb musicianship! I'd expect my wife to really like it and I can then secretly enjoy the playing while she hums along to the catchy tune
14.
Great pedal, great price, sold my EBS Unichorus for one of these
Thanks buddy! I did the same and it is a great chorus pedal I just have no need for it at the moment and I could use the cash to buy a DHA vt-1 that would be of great use in an upcoming project...
15.
not sure how much a switchcraft one is but it should be way less than a tenner and they're way more solid than the usual bobbins bunged in kit

A switchcraft jack socket like this should sort you out - http://www.ebay.co.u...t-/281193654168
quite a lot less than a tenner! about £2 in fact!!

21. This the one? http://www.slab66.com/ looks very nice!...lots of nice pics but no description as to what you actually do and no help on ordering/commissioning a bass from you? navigation feels a bit strange too, a bit like reading an e-book rather than 'click the link to go to the bit you want'
22. if someone would kindly buy my dean p-bass, tent and tc corona I'd have the cash to buy this...
