1.
Bugger, that was quick Andy, didn't even get time to put my Nate Mendel Precision up for sale
Sorry bud I'll add you to the list of folks interested if it falls through
 2. [s]For sale...my '77 Fender P, black (not a refin) with some sexy wear spots and rosewood fingerboard. Frets dressed recently by Jon Shuker and new bone nut added at same time. She plays lovely now ...the old nut was held together by cardboard Original wiring loom and pups included but not currently fitted (see pics below). Kiogon loom and Seymour Duncan SPB1 pup currently installed (original pup does work fine so you get 2 fully working pups here and the kiogon 'patented' solderless wiring means a quick switch too!). Original covers and thumbrest included. I've replaced all the scratchplate and pup screws but the originals are bagged and included Includes non-original (but looks exactly right) Fender branded G&G hardcase. Weight...measured using the tried and tested 'weigh self with and without bass' gives a very pleasant 8.4lb Currently wearing Labella flats (45-105). Bass is in Sheffield. Happy to consider part trades with cash my way, 4 string fretless, or a Gibson Thunderbird (burst or natural mahogany preferably)... 3. Just received Clives' ebow, super easy transaction and super swift dispatch. Exactly as described, top chap
 4. Chris was the linchpin in a 3 way deal whereby his mate got my G&L and I got his mates' ACG, not a clue how he made it work but I have a lovely ACG and his mate has a lovely G&L, the man is a wizard of some kind Superb packaging too
 5. Holy smokes! This is my dream db!! aaaaarrrgghhhhhhh!!!!!
 6. Absolutely superb rig, I loved mine, sounded amazing!
 7. Sad times matey but what a glorious rig!
 8. I do rather want this so I can give it a whirl with the band! Would you consider trades with you adding some cash to make it work?
 9. well that's the first Sandberg I've ever liked the look of deal with confidence, Guillaume is a top chap
 10.
Fretless Precisions always sound great. I had a bitsa once made from an '83 neck and a no-name body and really liked it. Lovely soft, articulate, expressful tone with a subtle mwah that you o my get from a P pup. I have no doubt that this one would sound even more lovely! I'd gladly have this one if funds allowed and I'd use it every day. A bass this gorgeous deserves to be used!
Thanks matey, if it had a j pup at the bridge it'd still be perfect as I love the feel of it and the tone from the p pup...I'd just like a bit more j with my p
 11. Quite tempted to have this back, I had the bassdoc neck fitted
 12.
PM sent^^.
What are the controls on the preamp please?
 13.
This weekend would probably be the best if you are available, then it could be possible.
Sometime Sunday evening might work as we get back from Northumberland Saturday evening
 14.
To be clear, it is probably likely that the bass will be in Sheffield from Thursday but I do not have capacity to allow to try it at mine for the time being. Regards, James.
An acoustic test is sufficient to see whether it has the character I'm looking for, I could also bring my headphone amp and phones to check the sounds
 15. If this is still around at the weekend when am home in Sheffield I may ask to come and meet it
 16. Dammit I really really NEED to meet a fretless Wal now
 17. Importing amps is a potential minefield! For all the reasons stated above, if it's cheap enough to make it worthwhile after import duty and vat have also been paid and once you've got a transformer for it that you'll also have to lug everywhere as well as your new 'amp baby'...dude it better be cheap!
 18.
That's my nightmare amp: Aural enhancer - no!!! Graphic - no!!!! Semi-parametric - no!!!!! Bi-amped - no!!!!!! Stereo - no!!!!!!! Each to their own of course...

I've always felt the SWR 350 and 750 were rather disappointing - surprisingly lacking in oomph.
Not my dream amp either but hey, one mans' dream is another mans' nightmare innit
 19.
Good information guys appreciate it.
No probs buddy, I've only ever had compliments about the sound sent to f.o.h. so far
 20.
Just a standard 1/4 jack to xlr into DI? I was about to grab a radial jdx48 as I thought it was the only 'viable' option, placing it between head and cab Thanks in advance
Even simpler bud...obbm jack-Jack from slave-out to a radial pro 48 passive Di box, xlr out of there to the f.o.h. F.o.h. just needs to supply phantom power

 22. Love the bug, avoid excess gas and read everything with a wry smile, you'll do fine
 23.
That looks the business...
Thankyou kindly ...just need a Wal fretless to play through it and the world will be mine
