4.
Has anyone tried one of these yet, or better still purchased one? I’m looking into buying a Geddy Lee bass in the next couple of months and really love the look of the new USA version. If anyone has tried one, how much of a noticeable difference is there between the MIJ Geddy Lee basses and new US version? What about this new thick "C" neck shape, and of course how does it sound in comparison? I can only find one video on YouTube which doesn't really showcase it that well. I currently own a Squier VM 70’s which sounds great but I love that Geddy growl!
if you're a\nywhere in south east i can point you in the direction of a very nice thats up for a bargain at the moment (i did tell him to advertise it on here but dont think he has as yet) feel free to inbox me

 8. and what about if you 'have hair' but it's not your own?
 9.
Nothing much wrong with that message except that the order of importance is not clear. In question 3 there is the implication that baggy jeans are preferable to skinny. Not sure where that leaves the 'comfort fits' that I favour!
isnt this all relative to how chunky one's legs are?
 10. are you good? is this like helping old ladies across the road type good?
 11. (Loose in Maidstone that is) and point and laugh at us
 12. three days and no reply! must be a record for one of these glwts
 13. i have the one on the left (the chunkier one) on a fretless squiervmJ - the extra thickness of the base plate and the saddles meant that it couldnt be lowered sufficiently on the grub screws to a satisfactory reasonable action height without shimming so instead i channeled out a shallow pocket to drop the base plate so the surface of the base plate sits flush with the surface of the body - that was with a fretless neck but even allowing the hight of frets on a fretted neck the saddles would be all the way down to their minimum height with grub screws protruding unless of course you fitted shorter grub screws hope this helps im usually averse to brand naming too but the gotoh on the chunky bridge isnt really all that readable/visible unless you have a punter in the audience with a telescope in which case you could just move about it to stop him/her focussing for any length of time which might be adequate to scrutinise your hardware choices
 14.
Not a big deal at all. Gig threads is a weird personal thing. My band has never discussed what we wear to gigs, nobody shows up looking like a bum, so it really isn't an issue. Me, I obsess on it, I usually have several outfits laid out on my bed to chose from. I've been working my 70s look for about 45 years now. And it ain't working at all. Blue
our band only discuss really if its a big pay corporate do or wedding or something similar - otherwise we just wear whatever - ive even played a 50th birthday party forgetting to put my smart shoes on and unintentionally wearing my crocs and nobody even noticed
 15. ... and one mo' 'gain
 16.
I wouldn't be too happy if you only waited 3.5 hours before ditching the sale for someone else! Sometimes real life takes priority over BC.
+ another
 17. forget rhythm stick our band have just selected a few new tubes to learn - absolutely love the song but have you considered how tricky is the bass line to mar in Gaye and Tammy terelle "You're all I need to get by" Not difficult in terms of gymnastic technicality but the groove and feel is probably one of the trickiest bass lines you will find anywhere
 18.
I think your band has a nice likable look. However, I wish you had worn a black shirt. Blue
We do all wear black shirts if it's a classy gig but this was just a more laid back local pub gig - I need to go get myself one of those sh*te shirts for casual occasions

 24.
That's a great drummer, and doesn't need any raw meat to work
and you can turn it down when required
