To be honest the price is great just wondering if there is anything i need to know like damage to the body or finish or anything like that? Cheers
hi xander - i just recently picked up a fretted squier affinity J - best 150 pounds ive spent in a long time - would thoroughly recommend the squier!

 11. none of their later material has really grabbed me since moving pictures and signals - too formulaic and lacking in the charisma department - i dont dislike their material and im not against their change of style per se i just think their current style and sound hasnt produced anything of equal merit to the early and mid stuff if you get my drift edit - oops sorry forgot the answer to the original question here it is http://youtu.be/wlNrQGmj6oQ listen to all 26 mins and tell me if you honestly think that any of the recent albums have any bass lines to compare with this

 18. just as a thought .... has anybody any experience of perspex or acrylic bodies? i recall the dan armstrong thingy from years ago and if i remember correctly was there a bass version as well as the six string? the idea of a perspex/acrylic bitsa project has just occured to me and requires a modicum of investigation i feel
 19.
What exactly do you mean by "Googling" it in this context? Do you just put the name of the process into Google and see what comes up?
absolutley - just type the process name into google and you will get pages of results of explanations regarding the process and its functions
 20.
I've used FreeStudio for ages & (so far) it's been perfectly OK, but Avast! checks everything on download & has prevented one or two from happening, but this always gets the OK. but +1 on the above. G.
i too have avast and recently downloaded/ripped some yewchube vids to mp3 - it wasnt until later until i had need to open up windows task manager that i spotted a process running and googled it to find it was malware installed by the converter that didnt get caught by avast
 21. in answer to your original question there is no real answer is there? to get good at both would require a lot of practice and research - and with regards to discipline isnt it purely down to the amount of self-discipline they have? you could teach somebody slap technique exactly like VW but then they would need the self discipline to keep repeatedly practising it over and over until its perfect
 22.
It does make me wonder how some bass players think if Im honest. I have had this same chat with other players. Some say you have the John Pattitucci or Jaco style of fingering that would blown anyone away but then others have said people like Victor Wooten, Miller, Larry Graham, Stu Hamm their style are forces to be reckoned with.
wearing a pair of adidas boots doesnt mean you can bend it like beckham why copy someones style when what you really need is to observe how people play and help them develop their own style?
