4. Beatles - Birthday Song
 5. id be quite pleased if the guitarist stood on my cables it might electromagnetically infuse some of that bass signal goodness into them and curb their widdling tendencies with a moderate improvement in general good musical taste edit - maybe i should invest in a really long cable and detour it under the keyboardists feet too - maybe if they could 'sense' the bass line they'd feel less compulsion to keep doubling it all the time
 6.
So that's Jeff Berlin?? There was me wondering why Geddy had put on four stone and grown a silly moustache.
you obviously didnt hang around long enough until the end then to hear the presenter biggin' him up
 7.
I love Jazz but this is shocking....
innit
Thus proving that just because something can be done...
but then why only half do it? there are a couple of moments where the arrangement almost begins to work aside from JB's sloppy/lazy playing the real killer is that the drum line is identical to the original version - if you're going to go out on a limb with a radical arrangement you need to address the whole score not just everything apart from the drums
 8.
As per one comment on a youtube page ... they've been listening to T.Rex. That's not necessarily a bad thing ...
well it never hurt the dame
 9. oh and this one... a few 'very very very minor indiscretions' that only people with 'magic ears' might spot, but a superbly played cover and a good one to watch if you want to try and figure it out yourself http://youtu.be/fZmP4FngzHA
 10. if you go through the last few pages of the 'lets see some vid of you playing' thread on here there is a YYZ cover (sorry cant remember who posted it)

 14.
Raw? I do wonder about young people today. .
we need more filthy rich superstars driving rolls royces into swimming pools
 15.
We then got an email later on saying that we had been chosen to be in the final 100.
..being a cynic i'd wager a fiver that they havent even had 100 bands apply yet edit - not a reflection on your band of course just their marketing schtick
 16.
which song does the winner get to record?
haha i just lol'd the one theyre f*ckin well told to!
 17. oh hai hope all ur strats grow up big into precisions
 18.
wouldn't be surprised if it's a cynical publicity stunt for a web design or marketing company or summat. Whatever, whoever is behind it doesn't know much about music and audiences, that's for sure.
this seems we have a whole new generation of nathan barleys strutting the golden streets of [s]Soho[/s] Hoxton etc (no the streets of Soho and Hoxton aren't actually gold, that's just how the myopic nathan barleys see them through their yellow tinted black framed glasses)
 19.
PS. emailing the drummer might be seen as weak, just keep your powder dry, carry on, and I'm sure he'll hang himself. If he crits you again in front of the band, give a big BWAHHAWWHAAW laugh, and just say 'Your only saying that cos your trying to get your mate in to play' Speak and expose the unspeakable, then he has no-where to manoeuvre
this or this ... or just announce (in presence of said new sixfingered control freak) 'im having a baby so you will need to find a new bass player soon and if the real father doesnt own up im going to have to name you all to the CSA and request DNA tests from all of you! whilst emphasising the last bit stare with a slight look of disdain and pathos at the new boy with his puny tiny stringed instrument count to ten hopefully by then he should be unplugging and packing up his ego boosting over-compensating effects rack and mumbling a few excuses ... let us know if this helps
 20.
Your frets are wearing down after three months? What are they made of - butter?
this are you hitting them with a hammer or something instead of fretting efficiently with optimum effort? and to paraphrase mr suggs .... you need a box of something with a fetherlite touch
 21. you could ask them for your own personal rope with special non-allergenic manmade fibre covering
