1. If thats what you've found then fair play to you Its a gorgeous bass, good luck with the sale!
2. If you want a 5 with a low B why not get Adamovic to cut a new nut for you and set it up for B-G tuning?
3. I still think you're stir crazy for selling this thing bud, but you've gotta do what you gotta do! that 5 string fender must be something unbelievable! hope all is well is welshland matey!
4. Your bass and the thru-fingerboard poplar 5 string at the top are some of the most incredible basses jon has produced yet
5. Wow!!!! Thats one of the most beautiful shukers ive seen yet, that top is mindblowing! Soundclips please!!
6. Haven't seen them live, but they are awesome Am quite exited that i'm playing a few of his tunes on this cruise contract!
7. I'm the one in the Rush T-shirt with the 6 string warwick
8. Great afternoon of bass today. In a room containing some really lovely gear, those TKS cabs and Robin's Overwater were something else!! Was also great to put faces to names, really enjoyed it!
9.
Nah - Nah - it's the other side of the river. You'll be fine :-)
Nice one, thanks WOT!
10. is that going to affect me, coming up from Leeds?
11. My 50s classic precision is great, tried it against 2 MIA P's and it sounded and felt better than either of them.
12. My favourite would be Gabrielle Aplin's 'English Rain'. Singer/songwriter is a real right turn from my love of modern Jazz and improvised music, but i love it more every time i listen to it. Somewhat disappointed i discovered her just as she was finishing her tour! Some others i really liked... Steven Wilson - The Raven That Refused To Sing Karnivool - Asymmetry Maria Schneider - Winter Morning Walks
13. I'd get on the phone to Jon Shuker and spec a 33" P and get him to carve exactly the neck profile you want

15. My trace 1048H 4x10 is still for sale if you're interested. Its rated at 800 watts so i'll be surprised if you can find a head within your budget that will push it to the limit
16. Awesome thanks RK the wenge neck, walnut body and east preamp are in my current thinking for when i get around to ordering a custom build from one of the UK luthiers, so i'd love to see how that combination and woods and pre sounds
17.
It's lovely to play. Some people find the shorter scale not to their taste, especially if they are aggressive players who really like to dig in (obviously that's not really Matt Garrison's style or aim so it's somewhat understandable). It's built more along the lines of their customs than the other standards with different neck/body construction and back angled headstock etc. It's also a really pretty instrument in the flesh, a little difficult to catch the quality of the top on film. Very 'tactile' as well, just seems to fit really nicely. We've sold 2 or 3 of these now and every owner has raved about them. Definitely something quite special
It does look lovely, id love to try one and see how it matches my memory of a custom MG. My worry is that i would then have to tell myself over and over that i cannot afford a fodera, certainly not in the spec i would go for
18. I'd love to drop in just to see how the Fodera MG standard stacks up
19. @CamdenRob, if my friend happens to end up working later than 630 (her work seem to be making a habit of swapping shifts around atm, so she sometimes works a later shift till 9) would you fancy a pint?
20. OK, my friend lives in North London but i'm happy to meet in the centre or wherever anyone else fancies/is convenient. Also happy to swap coffee for beer if thats what people fancy
21. Best - The gallery, called them to inquire about an SKB bass safe for my cruise work. Alex asked me to call back the next day to make sure they had them in stock, then he beat me to the punch and called first, had it ready for me the day after. Big props to strings direct too, great people, and to John East, best customer care ive ever experienced. Worst - The old Leeds Sound Control. When i was after my MIM 50s Precision they tried to steer me onto an MIA P, then quoted me a £150 more than GAK....
22. I'm down in London on the 19th-20th september seeing a friend of mine, and happen to be at a loose end during both days up till about 630pm ish since she's having to work, so....anyone fancy Coffee and/or lunch and maybe....i dunno, talk bass for a bit?
23. Ahhhh i see, i should have noticed the edit first time round would have been good to have a fellow warwick enthusiast there!!
