    Its been a long time since ive played live prog but I always took a deep breath before we played Metropolis Pt.1 by Dream Theater, mainly for the unison section at the end of the instrumental

    My main bass is a Warwick streamer LX6 which weighs in around 11.5 pounds (5.2kg). It doesn't feel particularly heavy to me, something I largely attribute to being a competitive powerlifter. If you're used to feeling 130kg (squats) and above across your upper back, a 5.2kg bass isn't heavy.

    I have 2 Patitucci transcriptions posted here, Tone Poem and Heart Of The Bass. Tone Poem isn't too tricky, Heart Of The Bass is a different animal. I also transcribed a solo version of Meditations, which unfortunately doesn't exist on YouTube anymore! I don't have a full transcription for this unfortunate but the video is pretty clear

    Hello All, For sale is my SKB bass safe. Im using a reunion blues gigbag to fly with these days so this is just collecting dust. There are a couple of marks on the case from the couple of times ive flown it but these are purely cosmetic (the white marks are from where i gaff taped the case shut in case the latches came open).     Hello Folks, For sale is my DOD Meatbox reissue sub synth pedal. Its an awesome piece of kit but doesnt really fit into what I'm doing musically at the moment and i could use the cash elsewhere. The reissue is now out of production. No box, but i will box up for shipping. Pedal is in as new condition and has never been gigged. Shipping is included in the price.     Hello Folks, I'm based in Rochdale Greater Manchester and am taking on new students for the new year. I teach bass guitar exclusively and have been an active professional for over 10 years including 4 years spent as bassist and MD for Carnival Cruise Lines. I studied music up to and including degree level and graduated in 2012 with a 1st BA(hons). I also have a valid DBS check. I cover all major areas of instruction including technique, time, sound, improvisation, harmony, reading, repertoire, transcription, exam prep and theory. I arrange my lessons around what my students want to cover and get better at, and actively encourage them to bring lots of questions to lessons.     Hello folks, For sale is my TC flashback delay. Selling due to clear out of unused gear and my TC nova repeater is my delay of choice these days. Its a great pedal though, can be run in full stereo, has a wide range of options including tone print, and also features a basic looper. No box but will box up for postage.
