1. Thanks Daf, I tried the Hs a while ago and they didn't work for me I'm not using a mag, got a F/C on + the on board original Anyone got a G 140B or SS I could borrow or buy just to try? Obligatos work well but I still think I can get it sounding better. Cheers
2. Hi Roger, I've got the STL 3.0 8T which is a nice lightweight combo for drummer-less restaurant type gigs The amp has enough power to drive a second cab but I haven't used it that way often. I think I prefer the MB200 soundwise I've not had chance to try the 10" Genz yet but I know they're popular with some players They are rear ported which helps to spread the sound The amp has aluminium knobs which are difficult to see the settings hope this helps
3. Any SLB players out there using Innovation, and if so which? I've tried several brands on my Yamaha's and the best on my SLB200 at present are Obligato Does anyone know if any Innovation strings compare to the Obligatos cheers Keith
4. I fancied this cab but need 4ohms Bump back up for a great cab

6. Just have a close look at the edges, especially where there is wear or damage. From the photos the front looks like the front might be carved from several pieces, the back looks like ply when zooming in on picture 3

8. This is the more expensive chrome plated NS end pin. I bought it new from the Bass Centre but no longer have a Steiny to attach it to. Will fit the NXT & CR series Move with the groove - allows the player more freedom of movement than the fixed tripod £100 + postage The one from Thomann at £99 is black, although their website shows a picture of the chrome version. How do I know? I just emailed them and they replied with "Many thanks for your email. After speaking with our strings department, although the picture on our website shows a chrome finish it is in actual fact black finish. Hope this helps"
9. Is it carved wood front & ply back (flat or swell back)? The neck looks like a nice piece of maple in the reflection
