99% fingers. Unfortunately I have a hand injury that is forcing me to use a pick for the next 6 months - year. I've bought about a million different ones to try out including leather and felt ones to try and get a finger tone again. I don't have anything against picks and for some things I really like them, but I play a lot of big band and finger tone works better for me.

I've heard rumours of a 50% buy by Gibson. Randall Smith is old. I'm sure he's exploring his retirement options.

Not a chance. Mesa is tiny compared to Gibson.

Sandberg TT models are quite a bit smaller than a trad jazz.

I'm hoping the new vaccine that doesn't need as much refrigeration will mean the process will speed up a bit. And I hope we get more efficient as time goes on.

Helix synth sounds are ok, but nowhere as good as my Source Audio Spectrum.

I think you'll be better off with a wide range EQ pedal like a Boss EQ-200 Then you can remove the P mid hump more accurately and boost the super lows and highs.

The P pickup is the problem for a Marcus sound. If it’s a jazz shape, is it routed for a neck J pickup as well, under the scratch plate?

I’ve now stacked the B3K into the Sh1. Looks like I need a noise gate now!

Mine is quite likely to bump my B3K off my board. Not tried stacking or parallel-ing them yet though. Ive also discovered the speaker button is an excellent bass boost with a reasonably flat response cab like my Super Twin.

It appears I ordered one while fuelled by rum. Incoming this week.

I’d like to explore more medium scale basses. And a synth pedal or two. Maybe.
