1.
maybe the bass whammy doesn't either if there is no difference...
fair point, never actually tried one so that could well be the case! My apologies if it is
2.
I have Whammy bass II and the Bass Whammy, and there isn't any difference between one or the other in a sound question. No more bass frequencis on one or the other, nothing. It's totally incredible. Only differences are some presets
thats strange, my whammy II didn't track bass notes below A at all.
3. how much? take it to pm if you would rather
4. oh man that EBS MetalDrive sounds horrible in such a good way! gasss
5. always wanted to try an FM4, only have the Hellbilly to trade at the moment though. Does anyone know of any music shops in bristol who stock these?
6. Ok mate, I'm up for the trade so get in touch if you don't get a buyer
7. il also throw in a free behringer bass eq pedal to sweeten any deal
8. thats a very cool sound, almost certainly not made by one pedal Maybe a filter or some kind of modulation is involved, mixed with his marshall guvnor original Anyways, the hellbilly wont make that sound, still makes a mean overdrive and fuzz though
9.
No idea who Kurt Ballou or Converge are (you should post some clips) but this is pretty ridiculous yet defined! $120 delivered (plus you won't get hit by customs charges )
sounds like thats a pedal for active basses, it sounds bloody awful with the P bass IMO. I like it when GAS gets killed
10. not suprised FWIW, i don't think you will get much interest here for the wh2, It doesn't work great with bass (doesn't track at all below A, hence why the bass whammy was released). If i remember correctly, i sold mine to a continental gentleman for about 140 euros last year. Guitarists may well pay what your asking for it, i don't know if its better or not, but maybe just not on here
11. Cool, does seem like a fun pedal...il have a think heres a pic:
12. Sounds suitably abnormal. I think there are a few different models, give me a web link of yours and il have a think. I think I would rather give it a few days to try and get a trade more like what I have suggested, consider me interested anymore offers? I think i will sell for cash if needs be, £100 shipped will seal this rarity for you, recorded post. Comes with original box. Trade value does not necessarily need to match, just hit me with what you have, although i am unable to add cash
13. skills aside, i would choose to listen to flea over wooten any day of the week. I just find wooten to be pretentious and boring. Atop of that, flea was proabably my biggest influence to pick up a bass, and i know i wont be alone there. Surely thats enough to regard him a great playr if he inspires people to play? Thats what its all about for me, not playing amazing grace with harmonics....
14. Any interest in my tonefactor hellbilly?
15. Ok, trade wise I am looking for fuzz pedals, octavers (particularly the new mxr), and other synth esque stuff. I'd also be interested in a pigtronix filter too
16. I'd offer my tonefactor hellbilly up for the assmaster, havn't heard that particular rage track to comment
17.
well i quite clearly cant read
i thought it was a hellbaby you had Only other guy i know who has a Hellbilly on here is Roady, who is also considering selling his. Like buses, aye
18.
PM sent
and replied
19.
great pedal, i love mine! but i do believe you are mistaken i think there is only 25 in existence not 150.
there are 25 Hellbabys, and 150 hellbillys
20. Bought this to pair with my Hellbaby and as good as it is, i fancy something different Only around 150 of these made i believe, recently been reissued under a different brand. Its a great fuzz/overdrive hybrid pedal. The tone knob literally ranges from overdrive to fuzz, with the knob all to the left being muse esque fuzz, and all to the right being a heavy overdriven tone. Gain knob works as normal. A very unique pedal Looking to trade, no straight sale as i don't particularly want to sell it, just want to see whats out there. I will consider pretty much anything. Post here or wing me a pm.
21. thinking of letting my Tonefactor Hellbilly Fuzz/overdrive hybrid pedal go, one of only 150 made iirc, would there be any interest?
22. Leave it for pms guys, ime posting in the thread is a bad idea. Btw, the bass whammy is very fairly priced, if anything it's a little too cheap! Have a bump
23. Vestax pedals look like they are built by the same company as Vester pedals, which is the brand of my old OVD overdrive pedal, which i loved
24. i think its very important, as said i don't want to be spending £1k+ on a bass with shoddy build quality, no matter what it sounds and plays like! But lets reserve judgment until a non-prototype pic emerges.
25. that is bloody brilliant!
