1. And another http://basschat.co.uk/topic/225946-fs-digitech-bass-whammy-rare/page__pid__2324403#entry2324403 When is the bass whammy due to be out, any word?
2. I had the generic response of using beeswax or lemon oil, neither of which would give the sheen it has. I think it has a finish on it that will probably wear off over time, rather than it be something you can keep applying regularly. No other experience with post 2010 Warwicks for comparison. I should probably ask on the Warwick forum I guess.
3. Any more info on this?
4.
I doubt it's doing him or the sale any favours though. I think the original point's been sufficiently made now, and it's worth pointing out that he wouldn't be the first person to begin somewhat inauspiciously only to become one of the key members of BC.
I agree, so leave it be now folks please and allow the man to sell his gear
5. If I say it is The Bottom Line, do I get a prize?
6. Man, these basses are cool.
7. Andd the last bump of 2013
8.
And the little switch?
LEDs, one would assume. Awesome bass!
9. Replied and SOLD, pending collection.
10. Cheers, best of luck with the sale!
11.
Just added a link in the original add. Bought roughly 3 months ago, 2 gigs only, mint condish, case, tools etc etc.
Sorry to ask again, but will you please confirm the asking price is £2499?
12. Over the last few years I have realised the Warwick basses are the best instruments for me. Have owned several high end boutique instruments, including top-end Roscoe and Wood & Tronics instruments, and tried even more, and I have always come back to Warwick. Whilst I am sure I will always succumb to GAS and give other builders a go, I doubt il find anything better for me. The growly tone of the African Hardwoods is just spot-on, and the feel of the wood and the fingerboard is just right. The bridge is a superb design and the (brass) adjustable nuts are a great innovation. A Wal is still on my list of basses to try, though. I fear the day I play an Mk model as it may cause a rethink that I certainly couldn't afford! Number one as of right now is my Warwick Dolphin Pro I from 2010. Superb quality, completely changed my view on non-vintage Warwicks. Has a superb range of tone with the electronics that seem to be able adjust to any mix in a variety of styles, perfect weight and balance at 9lb 3oz and just suits me in every way. Most gorgeous use of ovangkol I have ever come across too . It will be tough to better.
13. No reason why not. Corvette MECs are the silver type and are passive so no issues there. Providing they fit, go for it! If you don't like it, swap them back!
14. Can you clarify your asking price for the bass please, as your post seems to imply that was just how much it was new?? Apologies if I have misread
15. Bump for a cracking bass

Such a lovely bass, love that finish!
17. I am still searching for a mild overdrive that I really can say is my favourite; I find they vary so much depending on what bass goes into them. Particularly struggle with active basses. Heavy drive/distortion, B7K. Fuzz, my custom Cog pedal has a modified Grand Tarkin circuit which just sounds fantastic. It's a completely subjective thing, and will vary depending on playing style, context and just general personal preference. I suspect they will all be named here
18.
was tempted but with the monies I'm dropping on the b7k I don't want to spend too much and the prospect of new board as well my bank will hate me.
He gives discounts to BC members and has a number of stock fuzz/drive circuits to play with. Get in touch and see if he can do something for you!
19. I did with both a 3 and 7K. I preferred 9v in the end, 12v just slightly lowered the gain and allowed a little more headroom, not worth the extra power supply effort for me
20. Just stick to the Dolphin!
21. Putting aside the differences and apparant 'Limited'ness of flatwounds, surely the quality and playability of a bass is just as important as the tone? Generally speaking, a £3k Sadowsky P will feel a whole lot better to play than a £100 Chinese P copy.
22. What is your budget? You would do a lot worse than giving Cog effects a message
23. Can I please request that this rule continue to be observed? Makes life a lot easier for members and moderators alike
