1. I am still searching for a mild overdrive that I really can say is my favourite; I find they vary so much depending on what bass goes into them. Particularly struggle with active basses. Heavy drive/distortion, B7K. Fuzz, my custom Cog pedal has a modified Grand Tarkin circuit which just sounds fantastic. It's a completely subjective thing, and will vary depending on playing style, context and just general personal preference. I suspect they will all be named here
2.
was tempted but with the monies I'm dropping on the b7k I don't want to spend too much and the prospect of new board as well my bank will hate me.
He gives discounts to BC members and has a number of stock fuzz/drive circuits to play with. Get in touch and see if he can do something for you!
3. I did with both a 3 and 7K. I preferred 9v in the end, 12v just slightly lowered the gain and allowed a little more headroom, not worth the extra power supply effort for me
4. Just stick to the Dolphin!
5. Putting aside the differences and apparant 'Limited'ness of flatwounds, surely the quality and playability of a bass is just as important as the tone? Generally speaking, a £3k Sadowsky P will feel a whole lot better to play than a £100 Chinese P copy.
6. What is your budget? You would do a lot worse than giving Cog effects a message
7. Can I please request that this rule continue to be observed? Makes life a lot easier for members and moderators alike
8. I feared you may say that! So tempting to order, wish I had ordered one the same time as the b7K now, can't justify US shipping costs twice On a related note, Prymaxe have a 20% sale at the moment! as opposed to the usual 15%. Makes things much cheaper, even with duty/vat added.
9. Ridiculous money for a superb hifi setup. Should be snapped up!
10. But the OC-2 is analog and was replaced by the digital OC-3. Both the original and new bass whammy are digital. It will be interesting to see what the new one sounds like in comparison! As you rightly say, the WH1 has kept its value and I am sure the bass whammy will too. May not be the best time to sell though, but it's the risk you take I guess!
11.
Two actives and two passives. The only active that I have to treat a little differently is my American P V that had an Aguilar OBP 3 in it (big, big output... was clipping my PWNZOR until I turned the input gain down and played a little lighter).
The reason I went for passive is that I found my Pwnzor worked much better with passive electronics than active; to be more exact a passive Precision than the two active Warwick basses I had whilst I owned it. From what Spencer has said, 'Your're Doom' works equally well with active and passive basses, can you attest to this?

Top board. Really considering You're Doom, and I have a new B7K on the way (sold to fund my Cog, but decided I cannot do without it). The Pwnzor and Proton are not quite for me, do use use a passive bass, by any chance?
13. Not for this forum, this one. Please repost in the Other Musically Related Items For Sale forum if you are still looking to sell

Xmas FX

Nice tone you got there! I felt the same about the SubT, and mine was probably the first in the UK and had the bleed issue, It did sound good with the Xerograph Dlx, but not really with anything else.I think Taylor should bring out a pedal utilising both of those circuits, as the SubT seems a little specialist alone.
15. Another buyer has dropped out so still available. Will accept any near offer, I really need this gone.

Xmas FX

How is You're Doom? About the only new pedal that is tempting me at the moment! I trust Taylor has solved the SubT bleed issue now?
17. Silly Xmas bargain at £499 collected.
18. Just head bang and have fun

SOLD

Not surprised this has been snapped up, I would have it back at that price! Do let me know if it falls through!
20. Last bump before Xmas
21. I think for the most part you have to accept that you won't nail the tone. Will save you a hell of a lot of money and effort in the long run. Chris's rig is very complex and a pedal will not get you there. The pedals you say will give you something good enough, but just don't expect to sound like muse

23. Bump Would partner perfectly with the CTM100 that is up for sale at the moment!
24. Bump, back for sale. Just cant justify keeping it. Someone please buy quickly to take it away from me before I change my mind again as I can't afford to! £1100 cash plus shipping (£35+ depending on your insurance requirements) but collection or meet up much preferred. £1200 trade value, at least £5-600 cash needed my way.
