1. Lee just sold me a envelope filter for a great price, quick delivery and pedal is perfect, great deal, cheers bud!
2. oosh, light for a dolphin too! Does have tone chambers which help
3. You have some stunning basses, Danny.
4. Some of the Warwicks on here at the moment, spoilt for choice! This looks like a custom order, not seen the uncoloured neck combination many times before, and it is a couple of years after EMGs were the norm. Look at that flame!! What is going on with the nut, not original?
5. I daresay you won't be the last to be disappointed by a Stingray 5, particularly if your a Stingray 4 player. However, the classic series fiver is the 'real' stingray 5 and I would love to give one of those a try. Sorry if I have induced further GAS
6. Bud, I would change the title to include that this is the B3K 2.0 Finland model, it should be flying out the door at this price! VT Bass DI is a good price too!
7. Gorgeous! Can we have a look at that ding in the neck? Pm if you wish
8.
The Wonderlove is more Mutron'ish just like the Proton, the best aprox to a meatball is the GR1/2.
I don't think I agree with that. The Wonderlove is a development of the GR2 circuit, basically the same with a few tweaks here and there, very much still on the Meatball side of things. The Proton is quite different from the Wonderlove and I wasn't a fan, although I own neither of them anymore as overall they both underwhelmed me. Would love to own a Meatball!
9. If you are after a creamy valve drive, the B7K won't be for you. The Vintage Microtubes Deluxe would be more up your street I would think, far less aggressive than the B7K.
10.
My schaller strap lock had a major fail a few months back and my bass would have certainly hit the floor if I hadn't managed to stop it.
How on earth did that happen? Did the strap button/screw fall out? Or where you jumping round like a lunatic? I can't see how it could fail to the point of the bass falling any other way...
11. Its tempting, for sure! Never played on one of the Set Neck models with the tone chambers, you're bloody far away though!
12. .. and I have just bought a B3K 2.0 and sold a vintage deluxe, I feel we should have talked
13. A made in Finland B3K 2.0? That is a cracking price if so, they have only recently come out!
14. Bump, amazed this still hasn't been snapped up! Ebay beckons
15.
I decided not to wait (by a week) and got this instead:
Not yellow enough for me... Gorgeous bass that Z3 though, mate. Congrats!
16. So, who is expecting to get their hands on theirs this week from Bass Direct?
17. This chap has just purchased a rather nice Warwick bass from me. Smooth transaction, paid when he said he would and seems happy with the bass, a pleasure to deal with. Cheers, Adam!
18.
Hi kev just checked on the history of warwick web page, it looks as if you are correct, from 1995 to 1997 they switched to a bubinga body. Also it seemse that this 1995 to 1997 period is now becoming a sort after period .
Absolutely! This bass will be a cracker for sure and it is a steal at that price
19. Nice Dolphin! Looks like a good refin, too!
20. Lovely looking bass mate! But I think that may be a bubinga body (it looks like bubinga from the colouring, walnut is somewhat lighter and browner), could be wrong! However, it is certainly a wenge (rather than ovangkol) neck. GLWTS!
21.
There is an old fretless Wal Pro 2E for trade - only for trade against a good five string bass - here in Sweden. Here is the link: http://pratabas.se/v...php?f=8&t=75233 Translated by Mayhem Translate gives: Well, I love this bass but still I need a fretless with at least five strings and this has only four ... A piece of British engineering from '79, absolutely top class and with a sound you will not find elsewhere. Newly renovated by Wal themselves (incl. reshaping the fretboard, new fingerboard markers, renovation of electronics, new chrome on the neck plate etc etc). I let the cracked laquer and dents be (see picture), then they do not bother me. Unfortunately, the original case is long gone when it fell into so many pieces that it could not be saved. Not for sale but only swapping for fretless 5- or 6-string. I imagine something like the F-bass, woody and mwwaah, preferably lined fingerboard and bolt-on but it is not a requirement. Trade value around £1500-1600. Can arrange more images.
Seems like a great deal if you have what he wants! I don't really know what the Pro 2E's go for but I would have thought anything under £2k would be a cracking deal?
