  1. Did the singer help with the load-in?
  2. Good call, love me some Dread Zeppelin!
  3. Then of course there’s this:
  4. Life? Don’t all to me about life...
  5. Ah Kauffman, Elvis’ favourite Elvis impersonator.
  6. No Doubt’s “Rock Steady” album. Some great input from Sly & Robbie and Prince on this one.
  7. I know!! I almost bought one 10 years ago, but the font put me off.
  8. I’ve just done exactly this - gone from a B1four back to an ms60b. yes, the functionality is very much reduced, but the MS60b has more synths, which is primarily what mine’s used for. Running the MS60B in a loop pedal means that I have a master switch to bring it in or out of the signal path, and I use the MS60B foot switch to cycle through my pre selected patches.
  9. Round here? Throw a stick!
  10. Shhhh! Don’t tell him!! 😄
  11. My Bitsa Jazz/MM fretless. Love it!
  12. Space - big cabs do not make for domestic bliss, also they’re really heavy!
  13. I’ve been really impressed with the Wilkinson Musicman/Jazz combo - switch either pickup on individually or run in parallel for the standard ‘stingray’ tone. Not expensive either: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wilkinson-Platinum-WJM-Bass-System/dp/B01M0RSO1M
  14. Shame - I’ve got a rosewood NW Jazz neck on my ‘bitsa’ P bass and it’s great. Worth holding out for.
  15. Zoom B1- four multi effects. Cheap as chips and has all the effects you need. Even if you move on to individual effects pedals afterwards it’s a great tool to experiment and find out what you’ll use.
  16. Love it!! I want one of those!
  17. Sold my Zoom B1-four as I’m going back to the ms60b, just because of the smaller footprint. Perfect multi effects and private practice tool - even runs on batteries! comes resplendent with original box and paperwork/manual. price includes mainland UK delivery. sold
  18. His haircut still is! 😄
  19. Tried watching this, but it just drones on and on...
  20. Great little basses these - SX gear always punches way above their weight!
  21. Didn’t they play the Isle of Wight festival a while ago?
  22. Ok, it’d probably be easier to use the existing bridge as a template for a thin metal plinth and sit the bridge on top of that?
  23. Router but with a bearing to follow the existing shape. If you have a router, that is.
  24. Let me know when you’re ready to move them on then! 😄
  25. Since you’ve got a router (and presumably a template) I’d make one out of either wood or plastic - do the routing first, then cut the outside, as this way it’ll be easier to clamp! Then you can paint or polish to suit your bass.
