  1. It looks very nice and yes I do have one and also a spare Shergold/Hayman neck. I keep thinking that there's a guy on the Shergold forum who will be going mad with GAS for those Perspex covers as they are very very rare!

  8. I'm selling my recently purchased and in near mint condition Pawnshop Bass VI. This is a similar model to the Fender Bass VI but with some updates - five way switch and a larger humbucker pickup at the rear. The bass is in a beautiful sunburst with tortoiseshell scratchplate. It has a vintage trem system - that actually stays in tune! It's well set up with Daddario Bass VI round wound strings and comes with a set of spares. The bass plays and sounds superb and you can get vintage to modern tones on it. It's a short scale instrument 30" and weighs around 9lbs great balance and comfy to play on a strap. I'm only selling as I prefer a wider neck so I'm going to look at some other options. This is an instrument that I bought new and have owned for just short of a week it comes with all tags, registration card, Allen keys and a brand new non Fender gig bag. These are much better quality than the Squier version and I'd say compare closely to the very rare and expensive MIJ version which I've also owned. Sorry no trades on this. Pickup preferred but I can post in the UK at buyers cost. Thanks for looking!
  9. Ed bought my Fender MIJ P bass - very quick payment, no fuss, very easy deal many thanks and enjoy the bass!
  10. Bump - the price should read £1695 but I could t alter it.
  11. Keep the bass and I'll buy the case off you
  12. Here is my lovely old Gibson EB2 which according to the serial number and hardware was manufactured between 1966-69. The witches hat knobs and style of bridge would point to a later 60's EB2 I reckon. The bass is in superb cosmetic condition for its age having been kept in its (included and original) case for much of its life. I doubt you'll see another in this kind of condition! The truss rod works as it ought to and there is very little fret wear, neck is nice and slim and action is low. It's a short scale bass so easy to play and it balances well. Electrics work properly including the baritone switch which tames the massive mudbucker to a more manageable output. Great vintage tone and looks. The original adjustable mute and bridge cover are present as is the scratchplate. The neck is slim - similar to a jazz. Withdrawn
  13. Clocked it but I just got another early Marathon!
  14. Yes got my beadies on this one!
  15. I got it for £9.99 from The Works a few years ago. I thought it a bargain and evidently it was!
  16. What's the weight please?
  17. Now sold 😊
  18. I wish my MIJ Fender would sell as quickly 😊
  19. And sold!
  20. It would be £20 via Parcelfarce. I have a decent box and lots of packing.
  21. Peavey Foundation probably from the 90s. Bought off Evilbay last week but the Jazz type neck is too slim for my tastes. Selling for what I paid for it it's a genuine bargain. UK postage will be extra. This is a very well made bass it has a good sound and action and is nice and light. There are some dings and an untidy area around the jack plate where the plate has been replaced and the paint has been chipped. A nice US bass cheap! No trades sorry.
  22. May consider a swap for a Fender MIJ Jazz bump or Fender Pawnshop Bass VI
