Thanks Will! I've been asked about trade options I must stress that I'm only interested in the following - with additional cash if necessary. Fender Telecaster Bass, Squire JV Basses plus cash my way, Markbass 12" cab or 802 mini combo plus cash my way, anything of the 4000 bass model variety from the unmentionable, Shergold 6 string bass or 8 string bass. This is a lovely vintage bass there are not that many around from this era in such good condition.

Epiphone Rivoli bass from the Gibson Kalamazoo factory 1964. This is all original with no structural issues and no repairs. There are cosmetic dings, paint scrapes and touch ups a plenty but overall it looks great. It's set up with Daddario short scale flats with a nice low action. Frets are good, trussrod works and the neck is straight with no repairs. It sounds great pure warmth and when the baritone switch is engaged some very useable midrange tones. This is great for blues and rock and of course 60's pop. The bass comes with an Epiphone Rivoli reissue case. I withdrew this recently as it sold elsewhere but the buyer failed to contact me or turn up...UK postage at buyers cost. Great bass to play and very collectable. Cheers

What's the year and what's the weight please?

Just measured scale from the bridge saddles to the nut and its 32'' and back of bridge to nut 33.4". Most Kramers have a medium scale sorry for the confusion.

It's medium - not shortscale and inserts are painted black cheers

Very metal type aluminium bump

This odd looking wedge shaped bass is one of the last aluminium necked bass models made by Kramer. I bought this as a project - it needed work - I got the correct Schaller roller bridge for it as it was fitted with a Badass that made the action too high. It looks like it has had a Kahler type bridge installed at some point as it's got some filled holes under the bridge. It has also had an overspray by the look of things. I believe the Schaller pickup is original - I've seen a few pics online and this looks like the pickup installed. The original Schaller tuners have been replaced with new ones.

Hi just got your message - I've seen them on Ricks but the headstock tuner holes would need to be about 16mm wide so if it's got the original holes it would need to be drilled. I do have some Hipshot direct replacement for a Rick 4003/4001 that are brand new - was going to use them on my old John Birch but got the correct M4 Schaller types instead - if you are interested PM me.
