1. I've actually added a second Gibson mini humbucker pickup to this now and wired it vol, vol, tone. I put some Hipshot tuners on too that are direct replacements for the nice looking but inefficient old Klusons - keeping all the original bits of course! Sounds and plays fantastic now with a more usable range of tones and its original vintage mudbucker sound too!

3. Here is my Tokai Hardpuncher its virtually brand new and comes with original shipping box. It's a good weight at around 9lbs and is well balanced with a low easy action and a nice punchy sound. It's strung with the original round wounds and as it's barely been played the strings are like new. I bought this as a back up for my JV Squier Precision - and for a modern Chinese made bass this compares well - however I was seduced by a black and maple Fender so this is surplus to requirements. A really good value Precision from a respected brand - apparently built in the same factory as some of the Squier branded basses. Sold thanks

5. Indeed it did!
6. Yes great bass that but I swapped it for an unmentionable😳
7. That's nice
8. Hi the headstock of the EBO appears to have been refinished - I have owned early 60s models and they had an inlaid Gibson logo and a 'frog' inlay - yours has a decal - like on the late 60s and 70s EBs. The rest looks to be as it ought to - best of luck with the sale these basses have a powerful grunt!
9. Hi is there a case and what weight is it please? I suspect this was mine at one point as I had a sunburst one and put a thumb rest on it , thanks!
10. Martin has bought a couple of basses from me most recently a Gibson LP5 - quick payment and excellent communications he may be new to Basschat but judging by his collection of instruments he's a seasoned bass player! Cheers enjoy the bass ☺️

12. And sold 😊
13. I'd consider a part trade for a Markbass NY12 cab - nothing else needed at moment
14. Upiphone
15. It has a 34" scale and 16mm string spacing at the bridge. Very easy bass to play!

17.
Here's my second Epiphone Rivoli - made at the Kalamazoo factory in 1964. The bass had been converted to a lefty then converted back. It's been well kept otherwise and the neck, frets and body are in very good condition. The bridge is a left handed one but has been turned over and a bar added so it can intonate correctly. The scratch plate is missing and a thumb rest added. The original owner painted around the f holes presumably to highlight them the paint has faded and could be carefully removed. No breaks or structural issues. The holes from the conversion have been filled and touched up and look ok. A patch refinish could make this look perfect or you could keep it as is. It plays great and the original mud-bucker has a suitably mellow sound perfect for rock and roll, soul and 60s sounds. Electrics work ok but the replacement baritone switch doesn't seem to do much. Neck is lovely and the action is very low. There is no case but a very ill fitting gig bag will be supplied. I can post within the UK only at buyers cost. No trades sorry.
Withdrawn
18. Power back on type bump
19. A recent purchase but I don't play five strings much these days and although the bass plays and sounds great it's not going to get much use from me. Bass is in dark cherry of mahogany slab body, set neck construction and fingerboard is ebony. It weighs around 9.6lbs and is comfy to play for long sessions. Hardware is Schaller and pickups are active Bartolinis. The sound is massive! The bass has one or two dings and an area under the D & G tuners where the paint on the fascia has been touched up. There are some tiny surface blemishes to the finish but nothing awful or structural. When I bought it it hadn't been played for some time - the Duracell battery was dead and dated 1998! So it needed a bit of a set up. Truss rod turns and adjusts as it ought to frets are excellent. New battery and a gig bag. I will include postage within the UK in the price. This is what the bass cost me I'm not looking for trades or offers and I'd prefer pickup if possible. A US Gibson for the price of a cheap Epiphone!
20. What's the weight of it please?
