Peavey Foundation probably from the 90s. Bought off Evilbay last week but the Jazz type neck is too slim for my tastes. Selling for what I paid for it it's a genuine bargain. UK postage will be extra. This is a very well made bass it has a good sound and action and is nice and light. There are some dings and an untidy area around the jack plate where the plate has been replaced and the paint has been chipped. A nice US bass cheap! No trades sorry.

May consider a swap for a Fender MIJ Jazz bump or Fender Pawnshop Bass VI

I bought this from the forum and fickle person that I am I've decided to move it on as it helped me rediscover my old JV Precision! This is a 50's style made in Japan Precision dating from the 90s. It has a fantastic feel and sound and weighs in at under 9lbs. It comes strung with Fender flats and has a low action. It has had a Tusq nut fitted by the previous owner and comes with its original case. The bass has the most beautifully flamed maple neck and board that I've seen - initially I thought it was a 'fotoflame' job but this is real. Low action and good balance. A few minor cosmetic dings however the neck is virtually unmarked. There are two touched up areas where the bridge ashtray screw holes were made. The original bridge has a slightly bent adjuster screw, electrics work as they ought to. A lovely example. Price is firm - no trades. This bass is priced at what I paid for it. Buy before I put it on evilbay at a vastly inflated price! Postage ok in the UK if necessary at buyers cost. Thanks for looking.

I've actually added a second Gibson mini humbucker pickup to this now and wired it vol, vol, tone. I put some Hipshot tuners on too that are direct replacements for the nice looking but inefficient old Klusons - keeping all the original bits of course! Sounds and plays fantastic now with a more usable range of tones and its original vintage mudbucker sound too!

Here is my Tokai Hardpuncher its virtually brand new and comes with original shipping box. It's a good weight at around 9lbs and is well balanced with a low easy action and a nice punchy sound. It's strung with the original round wounds and as it's barely been played the strings are like new. I bought this as a back up for my JV Squier Precision - and for a modern Chinese made bass this compares well - however I was seduced by a black and maple Fender so this is surplus to requirements. A really good value Precision from a respected brand - apparently built in the same factory as some of the Squier branded basses. Sold thanks

Hi the headstock of the EBO appears to have been refinished - I have owned early 60s models and they had an inlaid Gibson logo and a 'frog' inlay - yours has a decal - like on the late 60s and 70s EBs. The rest looks to be as it ought to - best of luck with the sale these basses have a powerful grunt!

Hi is there a case and what weight is it please? I suspect this was mine at one point as I had a sunburst one and put a thumb rest on it , thanks!
