  1. Status Graphite 3000 Headless UK 1988 With Original Flightcase This is a near mint example and has the classic headless bolt on graphite neck and mahogany body. Simple 18v active circuit;volume, end and tone. I replaced the noisy and failing blend pot with a new Status one and it works great with a lovely range of tones from the Status jazz style pickups. The frets have just been given a set up by Aidan (Twincam) on this very forum and it plays beautifully. It weighs around 9.4lbs and balances perfectly. Everything is in superb condition and it's all original with the exception of the blend pot - I'll include the original too. It comes with flightcase and a spare set of double ball end Elites. The neck is comfy to play - it's the original non trussrod version with a small amount of built in relief. A superb example of a Brit classic. Sorry no trades. UK sale only - in the case it's heavy so pickup is preferred however I'll post at buyer's cost though it'll probably be quite expensive.
  2. Musicman Stingray Bass 1994 Honeyburst Maple The bass is in very good condition for its age plays well and sounds great - weighs just over 9.5lbs and balances nicely. Comes with a horrible ( to my taste ) aftermarket pick guard and quality gigbag. The maple neck has some nice birdseye markings. U.K. only I'd prefer pickup please and sorry no trades on this Cheers
  3. I saw this on eBay recently nice bass - Korean I take it?
  4. Lovely I have a Mk 2 in the same finish is the neck straight and true?
  5. PM me your PayPal I'll check the string spacing I need first though.
  6. Hi can the string rollers be moved to alter the string spacing - like on a Schaller 3D bridge? Thanks
  7. This is now sold thanks for all the interest.
  8. I wouldn't - I knackered the hell out of my Musicmaster 😖
  9. My first bass was a Musicmaster and it was a fine instrument perfect for me at the time. It cost £85 secondhand from Kingfisher Music and I got it in the January sale. This was in 1978 so with inflation... Ok there are lots of lovely basses out there for less money but if I saw my old one - and it was in worse condition than this one was even then - I'd be happy to pay £500 for it. A case of 'what price nostalgia' or 'A fool and his/her money'? 😳
  10. It certainly is an original case but I've only seen them with the earlier Musicmasters - with the funny non branded tuners. Maybe an earlier case with a later bass or just a creative use of mix and match 70's stock in the Fender factory. A nice vintage package for the cash however.
  11. Fantastic UK made bass this - I've just restored a Marathon 6 string, Shergold necks are just lovely. GLWTS☺️
  12. It was built for me - in the end I got another real one and sold this on. It originally had a wooden pickup and this evidently has been replaced. Played great but the pickup was weak. It took an age to make and was a bit underwhelming when it finally arrived - needed a set up and some details attending to - however as an experiment in a wider neck true VI bass guitar I think it works.
  13. Bump
  14. Cheers will take a look!
  15. Cheers guys it's on hold just pending post Easter payment.
  16. I've asked around and the material for recovering luggage is too thick for this kind of work - it's very thin material like the stuff an old 60s radio was covered in. I'm going to search around a bit more but may end up storing it and buying a new one. You can see it on the edges of the case - not the green inner cloth.
  17. I like this any more pics?
  18. I have a 60's Hofner Violin case needing total recovering - it's a Selmer era type. The green felt inside is present. Anybody any ideas? Potential costs? Thanks!
  19. Boxed in excellent condition with new PSU postage will be a fiver UK only sorry no trades.
