  1. TRBs must be (one of) the most under-rated, and consequently the most underpriced basses in the used bass marketplace. I don't play mine anywhere near enough but that's true of all of them.
  2. Not so...I had one - really liked it. Very good basses, well balanced, good tonal range, nice neck and great build quality (always an issue for me with Fender). They can be picked up for relatively silly money - after all they're not a J or a P so your hardcore Fender-rite can't be seen playing one in public. Don't be put off by negative comments by others who think that Fender should have stopped designing new basses after introducing the J bass.
  3. Preaching to the choir... Part of owning an ACG is the inevitable sellers remorse when we foolishly sell them. I believe I am not alone in this. Enjoy.
  4. IIRC he is a member here - can't remember his username. He's managed to take the art of luthery to another level...

  12. Don't...I haven't played it in over a year. Lovely neck, great tones, what's not to like. Several threads about them on the TB forum.
  13. They have a well deserved reputation of being great basses.
  14. I have a F2B - the "Alembic copy" - smashing bass. They certainly know what they are doing. Not sure if they're built at the Matsumoko factory.

  16. Speak to Martin Herrick - he can make pickups to spec. https://www.herrickpickups.com/
  17. Got two TRB 5ers, including a fretless. Great basses - punch well above their price point - easily as good as other basses I've owned which were significantly more expensive. Good luck with the potential purchase.
  18. I haven't been motivated to pick up a bass for a while now. I bought myself a geeetar for Xmas/ birthday to continue doing something musically till I do get motivated again. Sometimes I need a break to recharge my love of playing.
