    Been asking myself the same question. Currently have it narrowed down to the Squier mini and the MM mini Ray (at around £700). There's a short scale Warwick on eBay but my experiences with the Customer (Don't) Care Dept prevents me from giving them (or anybody else selling their products) a penny.

    I've owned a number of G&L Tributes - the build quality has been right up there. No idea how they compare to the MIA but they are good basses in their own right.     This is now ridiculously inexpensive - proper bargain. I know of these selling for a little short of £1k. Remember this includes the well used OHSC, handle missing but clean inside.
