    That's very good value. The Chinese ones on eBay are around £80....you might as well buy the real thing. Hope they live up to expectations.

    One of my favourite "single cut" basses. I've only tried Mayones at the LBGS but the two I tried felt well built with quality parts. I like the headstocks too.

    My G&L M2000 does a similar thing...I, too, assumed the phased effect has something to do with the pickups. Interested to learn more.

    Bear in mind that no matter what you do to it, it will never be worth a fortune. If you're keeping the bass do whatever you to improve the playability.
