    Big fan of Bass Collection Nanyos - most are under 9lbs with great tone - if you can find a fretless under £200, grab it. I have a fretted one you can borrow @PatrickJ when you bring the fretless back...

    If you have 2+2 length (I know it's a 6er) then Status medium length (the long scale are out of stock) 40-100s will work. They don't work on a 4 in line due to the length of the G string. I think D'Addario sell individual strings - you may be able to get a custom set from them. @Woodwind here's a video comparison of flatwounds-v-tapewounds.
