If you have 2+2 length (I know it's a 6er) then Status medium length (the long scale are out of stock) 40-100s will work. They don't work on a 4 in line due to the length of the G string. I think D'Addario sell individual strings - you may be able to get a custom set from them. @Woodwind here's a video comparison of flatwounds-v-tapewounds. -

I can see why people are going for Copper but it would need to be with matching headstock. The limited palette of the black and silver for me though.
