7.
You have to square it because it works on area not length. The Pi part cancels out.
Ah so 8 round 10" speakers is the same as 1 square 80" speaker. Thanks for clearing that one up Mr Foxen A
  8.
I ordered a fretless Jazz neck from CH and it arrived yesterday. Quality is fairly good considering the price - just needs a bit of smoothing here and there. Profile is nice and slim too.
Shhhhhh dont tell everyone Are you doing to put side dots on it? A

  13.
yeah, I never considered orange until recently when I saw one orange jazz and i thought... "that is warm looking and nice" It also brings me feelings of... warmth and fuzziness... maybe because it was a popular colour when i was child So, are you getting ideas for a new bass project?
Way ahead of you . You like Antigua right? See 'Lucie' in my sig for a teaser!! A

    Fanned Frets
Good question. So good, in fact, that I asked it myself a while back. Look here for the answer: http://basschat.co.u...ost__p__1013047 I knew that!!

Bah! That's a lined fanned fretless ... where's the challenge in that?
Yeah Im thinkin a bit more hardcore too. Although whimping out with a 12th marker may be acceptable to give you fighting chance and could double as a racing stripe at a rakish angle. A EDIT: Now we're talking (Original; thread: http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/extended-range-guitars/134676-custom-headless-10-string-unlined-fanned-fretless-2.html )
