1. Mirror Or mint.
2. Nice one. I might make it to the Fleece
3. Looks nice. Some suspicious wear on one of the neckplate screws - why has the neck been on + off enough for the screw head to be worn like that? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1980-S-IBANEZ-ROADSTAR-2-4-STRING-BASS-BLACK-/281584450185?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item418fbdba89
4. I don't make enough use of large sections of the site (Repairs, Events, Grooves, etc.). The Composition Challenge should not feel left out.
5.
And from the sublime to the (almost) ridiculous, and rather nasty Thunder 1A. He's only asking £100 for it but does need some love. Glasgow Gumtree: http://www.gumtree.c...itar/1097975138
Humour me, and explain why Thunder 1As are rather nasty?
6. Looks nice
7. Where based? Thanks
8.
Surely only Conan The Barbarian could ever tame such a beast.
Surely only a barbarian would consider it...
9. I used to do little fills under the guitarist. But we were talking about All Right Now ...
10. That is surprising.
11. Bargain! I should have kept mine
12. I should not have sold my Yamaha BBN5. Basic, for sure, but it was comfortable and played nicely. The B string was decent for the price, IMO.
13. Be aware that Parcelforce don't insure musical instruments.
14. It looks like something ran it over. (The Epi, not the Supro.)
15. Adrian bought my Steinberger Spirit. I dropped it off with him and we spent a pleasant hour talking about basses and why he really needs to stay well out of the For Sale forums A thoroughly nice bloke and I'd be pleased to deal with him again.
16. I liked that
17. Thanks
18.
Now you mention that... I currently use just the one pedal. A tuner. One input, one output. All I need to do is put the lead from the 'tuner out' at the back of the amp into the 'input' of the tuner. Without my glasses on I can't see what is written on the tuner, nor can I remember which way round it is from the general shape and configuration. But even statistically you would think I could get it right half the time? No.
Been there, done that. Tippex
19. I've got a short-scale fretless Prosebass single-cut J-J; it's lovely, and I wish I could do it justice. Skint, I fear.
