Ah ok cool, looks sweet none the less, is it an olympic white....or slighty 'brighter'? I'm a bit of a traditionlist, but that Shuker always does it for me! Si
Yeah, it's Oly White. And thanks for the compliment, it's not to everyones taste but I love it (sounds amazing too)

Group S*x!

Seeing as how I've recently had a new acquisition (Thanks to Budget Bassist), I thought I'd post a simple little group shot for your delectation (well mine really, it's for your sufferance ) From L-R Shuker Bolt on Elite, Stingray 4 HH 2008 LE, 06 S1 USA Fender Jazz FSR, Ibanez BTB550 (which needs new pickups) Cheers Pete
What would that £8.15s.0d.equate to now ?
If it was 1965 it would be worth £112. 1970 would be £90. that's according to this site http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/currency/

Many thanks Sam for a stunning instrument and being a joy to deal with.
10. Excellent guy to deal with. I really can't say anything more than that. Thanks Sam Pete
11. Have you thought of the Tascam MP-BT1 "Bass Trainer" I have one and find it indispensable. Almost totally silent practicing, brilliant!
12. Oh yes!!! Now we're talking. Looks amazing, well done
13. Oddly similar to this thread http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...sicman+stingray
14. Can I play? HH, H, HS, Piezo?
15.
Side LED are great. I love 'em to bits. Front LED's are for serious showmen only ...
Couldn't agree more. I always worried that if I had front LEDs someone would ask me to do a 'Mark King'.....ugggh
16. Oh now I love that, just beautiful. Nice one fella
17. Sounds like the first get together of the first band I was ever in.....I was 14......everyone trying to outplay each other as loud as they could. Just dreadful.
18.
free bump. I'm curious as to what thoughts people have on the mods here, in the context of the popularity of the standard Geddy's? Is it the price? or the mod's? or the weather? hope this isnt muddying the waters, but hey, we're all adults so we should be able to be open about such things?
Not entirely sure a for sale thread is the right place for such a discussion.
19. If they're anything like their 6 string brethren - the major difference will be in the electrics. I remember the pickups in the Epi were quite poor - things might have changed though.
20. Anything that Mike Rutherford played bass on. Love/loved his style. (just wish he wouldn't play lead guitar )
21. Absolutely brilliant! Especially the 'Oriental' clip.
22. There's nothing much wrong with the Behringer PA kit, used it for ages, until our singer decided to connect it up wrong and fry a power amp. It would be perfect for what you're after and reasonably priced too.
23. I've said it before and I'll say it again now. Rockbox in Northallerton. A bit off the beaten track but superb service, I can't big those guys up enough. To the point where I'll travel 2 and a half hours up there if I want something. Worst? Anywhere in Lincoln or Boston......utter rubbish
