1. Bought off me a pedal that I was too boring to actually use - now I can go back to just being unambiguously boring. Thanks!
2. You might want to consider an interface that allows you to monitor direct, rather than through the computer. The downside is that you don't hear all your virtual effects while you are recording, which may or may not be a huge deal depending on what you are doing.
3. Prices include postage to the UK. Any questions please let me know, Thanks. Tronographic Rusty Box - £130 - SOLD Mammoth clone with blend. Battery only. Blend that works is quite a benefit as IIRC the mammoth is rarely happy in a blend. £40, SOLD Iron Ether QF2 Copper - £150 - SOLD Iron Ether Xerograph - £120 - Sold. AMT mini volume pedal LLM-2 - £50
4. Aha thanks - I guess that's what people mean by proper 'active pickups' then?
5. It's just that you will often get more trade offers than cash - most everyone round here has a bass that (if they're honest) they aren't using - not everyone has cash that (if they're honest) they can spare!
6. I picked up one of these recently - enjoying it a lot, though mine's probably a different beast due to mine being fretless. The black and gold on this one looks quite smart! GLWTS
7.
Guitar > Lead > Amp > Lead > Audio Interface > PC and it will record whatever effects etc you have going through the amp?
That's one way to do it. Another way is to just go Guitar > Lead > Audio Interface > PC and apply the effects in software, which will be more flexible as you can alter them after the fact... Once you've got past the basics there are dozens of ways to do everything...
8. You will almost certainly need : - Some recording software. There's loads available, and most will have cut-down or demo versions for you to try before you buy. - a decent quality audio interface to get the sound in and out of the computer - a computer that's fast enough to deal with it all - a bit of luck that it will all work well together (sometimes, with the best will in the world, it just doesn't!) Your first step is probably to find an interface. If you say what computer you have, it will help people recommend something.
9. Is that an added control on the front? Or an alternative knob? Or am I blind?
10. it's not a 'Stingray', so you can report them if you wish. Report > Listing Practices > Search and browse manipulation > Misleading title.

Sold me a pup - a pickup, that is! Sent fast, many thanks.
12. EBay's 'dropdown list' approach to reporting stuff can be a bit hard to work through!
13. which ones, please? (swing 66, RS 77, etc..?)
14. How do you reckon it would cope with BEAD tuning? Would the bridge take a .125, for example?
15.
Damn it why do I have to have no moneys right now!?
'cos you've been drinking whiskey, and playing poker on a losing night?
16. Does the freeze come with box/PSU? or just the beastie itself?
17. So is this a fabfour, a fabfour startup, or something else? (http://www.miller-instruments.com/basses-english.html)
18.
According to my trusty tape measure the Lace appears to be 94mm. It has a red, slightly recessed, logo if that helps at all.
Thanks - PM'd
19.
Is the B3K gone??
PM'd back
20.
Oh, it's probably worth popping on to the Introductions forum and introducing yourself if you're selling with your first post. Seriously improves the chances of selling :-)
You mean there are other sections of the forum apart from the classifieds?
21. Thanks. Don't see this staying round long, a handsome beast!
22.
I've seen a few of these with knocks and scratches sell for around the £700 mark. An extra £250 - £300 for an absolutely immaculate one seems fair to me
We have a buyer!
