1. Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling it in 10?
2. When you updated, did all the drivers actually get "carried over" to the new OS? If not, might it be a question of reinstalling it?
3. perhaps you could add "for Octavius Squeezer" to the title to preserve the earth's dwindling supply of mouse clicks...
4. This guy reckons NOT to go for Pro Tools. No experience of it myself, but I am always struck by how little Pro Tools users know about 'what's possible' in DAWs nowadays. I assume it has no features whatsoever.
5. Bought a line driver from Harry and it made the journey across the waters in no time at all. All good, many thanks.
6. I think the point is that you can go back and 'edit your edits' if you've done a bunch of them, which must be great in some circumstances.
7. Great plexi-style pedal which some like on bass (https://www.youtube....h?v=0lMdXRGCopc) As new and boxed £30 posted. SOLD
8. Audacity's good. Lots of tutorials and help on the web how to do things. For converting lots of files at a time I just use Foobar2000, which is basically just a player but has that and a few handy clever tricks.
9. Sent one of my favourite old pedals Marc's way, nice and easy deal. Many thanks!
10. Sorry I missed your message Slapmachine, but yes, Bass IQ still available -
11. Roger Meyer Voodoo Bass - older one, no box. Works fine but be aware the adapter socket is a bit "shallow" so it's a bit fussy about the plug you use (works fine with my diago powerstation though, for example). £40. SOLD thanks.
12. I would say it seems basically fine, though in places there is perhaps a bit more space for some of the other instruments 'above and beyond' the vocal, e.g. where it might need a lift in the chorus. I also got the impression of it being a bit dynamically squashed which might not help. If I were being paid to nit-pick I thought I spotted a few timing / tuning / phrasing issues that I would probably look at before worrying about the mix. I'm not sure the vocal mix quite works with the style of delivery - it's mixed quite upfront, whereas the delivery is a bit 'mysterious' and could maybe do with some tastefully-done effects? (Your singer reminds me a bit of bjork so I wonder if there might be something in any of her mixes you can copy) Anyway I enjoyed the track, all meant constructively, etc!
13. I get a a warning that it may be a 'private track' (I can see your other stuff at https://soundcloud.com/pinthetailonthedonkey/)
14. Nice offer! What are you thinking for postage?
15. Gave a home to a Mammoth clone - easy deal, many thanks!
16. Yes, still available - I think things of these size I tend to send with Parcelforce 48 for about £12. I'll PM you.
17. I've mostly found DAWs much of a muchness, and have had enough problems getting a soundcard/daw/computer combination that worked well to be happy to stick with what I had when I had a combination that did work! The two that seemed to offer a different perspective on things were Ableton and Melodyne... or it might be even more interesting to mess with an old tape multitrack or something like audiomulch, both of which get you away from the dreaded 'grid'.
18. Took a Zoom pedal off my hands... trouble free sale and comms, and the pedal - true to its name - made it to Hungary in time for Xmas. Would deal again no problem. Many thanks!
