  1. To be honest, I've never seen that type of page. The way I've always found a topic I've started is to go to My Profile > See Their Activity > Topics. It's never failed me.
  2. Do you have them sorted in the correct order? i.e date started?
  3. Well, it appears as though the two topics you've mentioned are there for @ped and I, but not visible to you, so logically....
  4. I just checked your 'topics started' and they are both there. Leads me to believe the issue is at your end.
  5. I love that little staccato pan of the guitars.
  6. I love playing Madness songs. Been a while since I’ve depped with the Ska band. Hopefully I’ll get a call again soon. The Bruce Thomas will be perfect 👍
  7. You could be on to something there! I assumed, possibly incorrectly, that the room in question was upstairs. If so, the footprint of the pit could make a interesting talking point as it protrudes from the ceiling into the lounge. But for a bungalow or downstairs music room, your solution is genius 👏👏👏👏.
  8. I would get a 1 meter square mat for the floor and spray ‘STAND HERE’ on it in a very bright rattle can paint. Maybe put some bumpers around the edge of it to prevent you from straying outside the square. Given your predilection for not knowing where you are, I might add some hazard tape to the perimeter of the square/bumpers, just to keep you focussed. Then, now this is the clever part, directly above where the 1 meter square mat is, cut a matching hole in the ceiling. You might have to make the ceiling hole slightly oversize to counter the reach of the neck when you remove it, but I honestly can’t see any flaw in this method.
  9. I missed that too. I was in too much of a hurry to get to the photos 😂
  10. One of my favourite sayings right there and you are quite correct 😂.
  11. Alembic SC’s are great basses, but I’ve yet to find one I enjoy playing in a standing position. As long as you enjoy your Gibson, that’s all that counts. I’ve read your first post again and I still don’t understand ‘Yamaha screams/cheap’, but I’m now beyond caring to be honest.
  12. Clutch are also instrumental rock band The Bakerton Group.
  13. I'm thinking white, but I can see why you're asking. Some of the photos do have a tint look to them. What is the weight of this bass please?
  14. Your trollish behaviour has earned you one less reader of what could have been an interesting topic.
  15. Well, just under 90 minutes to go and I think I'm a fairly safe bet to finish Q1 with ZERO bass purchases . The rest of the year is looking a bit dodgy as I've just finalised the spec on a custom build. Deposit to be paid next week. I did try 😂.
  16. Just weighed my Final Audio Sonorous VI's, which I only use for listening rather than playing through - 530grams 😂
  17. Ah, good little series that. I was scratching my head right up to the end trying to remember where I had seen the actress who played Madeleine before. I don’t like using IMDB midway through a series in case I bump into a spoiler. Looked her up after finishing it and the penny dropped - Sidse Babett Knudsen played Cullen in Westworld.
  18. The 80ohm are 270g. I remember that as I read it just before I checked out 😀.
  19. To be fair, your post was written so poorly, my interpretation is understandable 😂. I’ve played many Gibsons (basses) and haven’t enjoyed the experience once. I’ve also worked on a few. I think the EB3 was possibly the worst I’ve had in front of me. What is that bridge all about?
  20. That makes three of us. As a fully paid up member of the Grammar Police, I’m going to give this topic a wide berth. The double comma thing is almost unbearable.
  21. Thank you. Amazon show the cable as 3m, which is 1m longer than I was hoping 👍.
  22. I'm now wondering whether I could push the envelope slightly and get the 80's anyway?
