1. Bought a DHA pedal from Pete, easy to deal with as always..
 2. I suspect the numbers in the main text are right... Tempting..
 3.
Because some people, myself included, are not allowed to drive for medical reasons.
Which is fine - "not allowed to" is quite different from "can't be arsed"
 4.
What Ω are your cabs each? You never said in the post & everyone's assuming that they're both 8Ω. If one is 8Ω & the other is 4Ω, then that makes 2.66Ω, which could damage your amp. If they're both 4Ω cabs, then that's gonna be a 2Ω load Given the choice & if I liked the sound of the 1x15, I'd have went for a 2nd 1x15 & made a 2x15 rig (better dispersion than the 4x10). If you prefer the sound of the 4x10, then get a 2nd 4x10 if you need more. A 2x10 in your set up means that 2 drivers are gonna be running twice as hard as the other 4 (this is if all cabs are 8Ω). Your way around it is if you have a 4Ω 4x10 & an 8Ω 2x10, but your amp may not handle this.
They're both 8 Ohm cabs - I checked on the Ampeg website before posting my first reply..

 6.
This is what we need / I want us to do. Intra-band politics dictate that it will never happen though...
At least the audience will be able to hear the bass now :-) I might pop in on Saturday to see you at the Bell and wonder at the transformation..
 7.
If a pub puts on a all day charity event & over 20 bands play free of charge , the PA is donated free & then I find out that the pub that would normally take about £2k takes over £9k & only gives a donation of £200 to the charity . Is that legal or just immoral ?
It's immoral but not illegal.. And the charity won't care because it's just bunce for them with no effort... Most of these I do in the south midlands seem to hand over in excess of £2k as a comparison..
 8.
Whether you do covers or originals, IMO it only works when you can put songs across convincingly with confidence. If the typical pub setlist is your thing, then play it loud and proud! Don’t let people tell you that you CANNOT have successful paid pub/club gigs if you break away from the usual though. In recent years I’ve gigged songs by Opeth, Lady Gaga, Alice In Chains, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Black Stone Cherry, Flock Of Seagulls etc as well as a couple of original numbers, all with success and repeat bookings. But you can’t do material like that half-heartedly, play it like you mean it, take care of the details, get anyone who possibly can singing harmonies, don’t miss out the tricky bits of songs or take short cuts.
+1...
 9.
That's got me thinking , I transport 2 members in the band , supply the PA & arranged everything ...I think it's time to look for another band I just want to turn up & play bass .
I know the feeling... Next band I join I'm going to forget to mention I have a PA and lights,.. Gigging is like moving house...
 10. I play in two bands - one mostly originals (or as original as anything blues based can be these days) with a few covers and the other a covers band with some arrangement twists.. The key for me in the second band is that we try and add a new song every month, and actively look for "our take" on more modern songs...I know of some bands in my area that have had the same setlist for over 10 years...
 11.
Not with a good amp you won't.
I'll make mr funk and Mr glockenklang aware of your view 😁 you have to listen closely..
 12. I've had my Lakland LOG Bob Glaub P Bass for about two weeks now.. Still trying to decide whether I prefer flats or roundwound nickels on it, but it does the P Bass thing really well.. 35" scale/Nordstrand PU..
 13.
I have a QSC PLX1202 bought from Owen. It has a sensitivity of 1.0v and 0.9v at 8 & 4 ohms respectively. I'm currently experimenting using it with my Two Notes Le Bass. So far it seems to work well.
I had this issue with my 2402 - see this thread.. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/qsc-plx-input-sensitivity-issue.129819/
 14.
From their instruction manual: 4. The Super Midget/Big Baby II/Big Twin 2 have an ‘HF Control’ knob on the back of the cab. Open it up like a tap (anti-clockwise) for increased treble and upper midrange. Experiment and listen to how it changes the tone. Set it however you like. I have a Big Baby and, if the tweeter works in the same way, it is not a volume control for the tweeter itself. It shifts the threshold on the crossover. The higher the threshold, the less the tweeter will be doing, hence it working in reverse to a volume control. Lower the threshold for more tweeter action! "With the HF control at max you hear everything upwards of ~2kHz coming from the HF driver, which makes the sound extremely clean, true and accurate - basically like a really good PA loudspeaker. Turn the HF control down and the crossover point gradually shifts from 2kHz to 10kHz, so more and more of your tone comes from the 12” driver. "
Reading the manual? What sort of bloke are you?
 15. With the two cabs you're running a 4 ohm load. You should set your amp accordingly..
 16.
A member on here called Wizbat - not sure if he still posts - had a matching pair of Rick-styled 6ers built by Jon Shuker, maybe 8 or 9 years ago:
Thanks... Not quite the way I want to do it, but the proportions look fine, which was a worry..
 17. You should be able to hear the background hiss increase/decrease as you adjust the tweeter...

 20.
How hard can it be to put it in a box and wait for a Courier to pick it up?
It's his decision. Maybe he's had bad experiences with couriers in the past? At that price it's worth driving a fair way to pick it up anyway.. Some photos might help though..
 21. I bet Metallica pay much more than £2000 to record an album
 22. First one I've seen for sale here... I've been thinking about one of these, why are you selling it?
