  2. Amaze your friends and embarrass your guitarists by bringing more pedals than them to practice! All you'll need to experiment with confusingly long signal chains, in one convenient package! Almost unused (never gigged) Pedaltrain Classic JR with Truetone 1Spot Pro CS12 power supply mounted and ready to go. Comes in its soft case with kettle lead and pedal power leads (not patch leads). Rough side velcro applied. £250 Inc UK postage "Like a multi-effects pedal, but less convenient!" - me, after spending £300 on a pedalboard and power supply
  3. I haven't got one!
  4. Same, but the smaller and cheaper little brother Boss XS-1. The demos I've watched sound very promising, and it should be able to do a better job then the TC Electronic Sub'N'Up Mini I use currently to emulated an octave course 8 string bass -esque effect. Am really looking forward to trying it out. I should have it by Tuesday.
  5. People with pre CBS Fender basses are like people with MBAs. You’ll know within 5 minutes of chatting, without ever needing to ask. I jest, but there’s a kernel of truth in it. It’s a lighthearted forum and we can all swap views in a positive and humorous way. You certainly don’t need my validation (nobody does), but I’d recommend a breath of fresh air and a walk before buying the £18.5k 1963 jazz bass.
  6. Good movie that, though not as good as 2. Thanks Stubbs - I wondered how I would recognise @neepheid at the bash.
  7. There’s no rights or wrongs on this stuff, just opinion 👍
  8. < Something odd gone on with this post. Ignore it>
  9. Hi so, I’m interested what about delivery Times? Another thing: I read about cash deposit, and the fact that it’s a limited run, can you guarantee that once payed the deposit i will receive the neck? about fingerboard I’d prefer Peek and luminlay side dots
  10. ^This entirely. Not many of those out there and they sound great.
  11. Really? You don't go to a show to sell 12. He'd do that on reputation alone. He also says in the video that this is the production model. What's you basis for this?
  12. No issues. Any questions, please let me know. Shipping available.
  13. How much!? *Monocle falls out of eye!*
  14. Have you got a link to the weeds tracks you did ? I know I’ve got them somewhere but can’t find them ! Lurksalittle is in town on the 11th with her mates so I’ll let them have a listen and if they are up for it I’ll get them tickets as well
  15. Hair dryer had a similar issue with rubber door trim today on partners horse box used a wooden lolly stick to get it back in position (trim, not partner or horse box)
  16. The bass Is like new conditions...
  17. I'd say medium. I've not weighed it but manual says it's 52lbs.
  18. My 2 pack arrived... and it's a 2 pack! Keep us posted. I'd be interested in this!
  19. A week after the rare Weeds gig in Chester, I'll be with Choked in Hereford with crazed rave-noisesters A-Noise and excellent old skool punks MC16... Free entry too!
  20. What’s it like weight wise? Not exactly like, but heavy, medium or light? Is it an easy lift? Or a boat anchor 😆
  21. We all have our own reasons for playing vintage basses. I bought my first in 1979 and have usually looked to buy them when I wanted a new bass. It’s alway been my default purchase. As I have possibly said previously, in my opinion the comfortable, worn-in feel of a 60 year old nitro finish neck cannot be surpassed, so the playing experience of a vintage bass has a head start. I have had a number of more modern AVRIs, custom shops, JV Squiers and although they are very good, they are not the ones I reach for when I am searching for Musical inspiration. In fact, I almost never reach for them, when I want the best possible bass. In my opinion, asserting that other people you have never met own vintage instruments as a status symbol or are part of a cult, are “bonkers”, or buy to prevent others from buying is an interesting point of view. But it isn’t a view that reflects me, or as far as I can tell, the people I have met that play vintage kit, many having owned them since before they were of significant value.

    Status S2 5

Hi guys. I’m thinking on maybe selling my 2008 (I think) Status S2 Neck thru 5 string. I’m a little off in the market prices at the present. What do you guys think I should ask for? Cheers
  23. Mine seems good, but the two ends are curled up a bit. Might try pouring boiling water over the ends if they don't flattened out, but currently it's in the lounge with a wooden cat on one end and a chair on the other.
