Agree! A proper synth block or more modulation blocks would be good. Darkglass listens to user feedback and requests. I hope they line it up in the future. For me, I'm hoping they would add a nice moog block and a 1073 preamp.

My last car puncture was from lost screw from a cars inner wing or cow catcher below the engine. Pop into any local garage and they'll keep a stock of them. Easy fix by yourself. Dave

I agree with you that it would be great to see effects other than dirt, but I can understand why they've added these. It seems that a common theme when the Anagram was released was that many bass players wanted alternative drive sounds to the typical modern Darkglass sound. These 4 new blocks should keep those people happy for a while.

Your post had me searching for a 4 stringer version. 😂 A bit too much at the moment and probably doesn't fit in with a 70's Glam covers band. Dave

Just updating my Anagram whilst I write this......its great that Darkglass are releasing more blocks, woohoo! It's just a pity that they are all grit / distortion / fuzz / overdrive 😒 Theres already quite a selection of these to choose from on the Anagram. I would have thought adding such as a phaser, tremelo, ambient or a "MXR bass synth" type pedal block would have increased the appeal to a wider market. 🤷‍♂️ I hope some more varied blocks are released in the future.

That’s was a very good bass player at work, well done TOP TIP thread your guitar lead through your strap then into bass so if you stand on your lead ( we all do ) it won’t pull hard on the cable and bass jack socket 😉😄

Ha the lure of good money can land one in all sorts of difficulty. I got a call to dep in a 60's/Beatles five part harmony outfit couple yrs back. 60 old tunes Id forgotten all about and Beatles stuff at short notice is very tricky. It was a very good earner but Ive never worked so hard. Dropped a few notes, suffice to say I never heard back and to be fair they were a top draw outfit. Fun tho.

2 years ago I found myself depping the whole summer for @spongebob whilst he recovered from an eye operation Ska/Mod/punk/new wave but the dress code was polo shirts. I didnt have any but off to Primark and I bought several, all in different colours. Two gigs I had to wear a Mod style suit and tie (and again with them last week) It was fun to be dressed totally different from normal and to fit in with guys in the band Every gig they would throw new songs (to me) in and I learned them all

I have had repeated success with a length of dental floss wrapped around and under both sides of the control knob to be removed.

Best (so far) - Barcus 6-string fretless. very nice to play and a good sound, and I don't have to look at the singlecut while I'm playing it.

Missed Nicks sister doing her solo slot as I arrived around 2.30pm. A great day of live bands doing thirty minute sets, timely changeovers due to running two stages. A really big turnout of punters, several hundreds, all having a good time in the lovely sunny weather. IMG_2714.avif
