  2. Space is the Place! - Jonzun Crew
  3. What a shamed the foto flame is coming off, I often wondered how durable it was going to be. If you’re wanting “vintage “ finish and sunburst isn’t an option , then provided the fiesta red is that slightly faded salmon colour that most were in the 60’s then go for that. @Trebis probably right that it will need a tort plate to look vintage. From what you’ve said it sounds like your are planning to have this done professionally, I think that’s a good call u less you’re really skilled in the art of spraying.
  4. Can't Take You Anywhere - Skunk Anansie
  5. Mayday, M'aidez...here's mine. I know he's got a microphone in the pic but I've yet again ran out of time (and ideas) so no vocals. Ralph, bored of guarding pedal boards and snoozing, decides that it's about time he got his groove on, so he leaps up, hits the keys and gives it his best Clint Boon impression. Bass Westfield violin, Guitar Les Paul copy, Digitech RP80 pedal for effect noisery, Ableton for all the drummery and the keyboardery. Wavepad and Audacity for all things recordery. Deep joy.
  6. A music stand with the top angled almost flat to take the desk; get one like this and you can even feed the cables through the holes.
  7. TC Electronic Vortex Flanger Mini with power adaptor and original packaging. If I remember rightly, this has the Mark King 'Sweet Minger' Tone Print onboard. Excellent condition, barely used. £50 inc postage to anywhere in the UK or Ireland.
  8. That's considered the mistake, however in interviews with the band it was a mistake from rehearsals that they decided to keep as part of the song as it sounded good, rather than a mistake made during the recording session - by then it was a part of the song.
  9. Very dull topic……… just bought a CQ18T. What do people put these on when mixing from a small stage? Be great to have a bit more space but with a dozen XLRs connected I need a stable stand for it. 😬
  10. Don’t bring me down- ELO
  11. Bump - due to osteoarthritis in my fingers I’m just not playing much these days and thus moving on this beauty, the nicest bass I’ve ever owned. price reduced to £1650 to move it on.
  12. Ibanez SRMS805, 5 string multiscale, for sale. In good overall condition, the only things to note are: * there are a few marks and scratches on the back of the body ( see photos ) * there’s a screw missing from the B string bridge. No problem when string at tension and probably easy to replace. * there are a couple of tiny dings around the neck and headstock. Very small and nothing that you notice when playing. * A few marks from the strings on the pickup covers. No case or gig bag. Shipping (in an old hard case) can be arranged at buyers expense.

  13. Served me well over the years - marks from use, but not abused, and still works great. I think I have a spare USB cable too, if you need it just let me know and I’ll have a proper look and include it. UK post included.
  14. Sounds like the BBp34 may be a good option for that Maron P tone. Not sure if the newer pickups sound much different, or how it pairs with flats, but I cant imagine it’s bad.
  15. Today
  16. Yeah, I saw... I can get some roughly "equivalent" Celestion TF1530e for £195 a par, though.
  17. Blue Aran has them listed but with a long lead time for whatever reason.
  18. Going Down - Various
  19. Guilty - Barbara Streisand
  20. New addition: GFI Systems Synesthesia Now sold: CB Lossy, Lusithand Ground&Pound, Morningstar Midi Box
  21. Several years ago I bought a cheap Gear4Music wireless IEM system (transmitter and receiver plus earphones) to try out IEM before I invested properly. At the time my reason was the same as yours - to be able to hear my vocals. They were plugged in to the headphone out of the PA mixer (which was only handling vocals). I'm still using the same system with an upgraded set of earphones (KZ ZS10s from Amazon) as recommended somewhere in the thread @itu has linked to above. Before wireless, i invested in a Behringer P1 wired headphone amp (with built in limiter) which I had set up in the same way.
  22. Made a new thread before I saw this one so, I'll share here too - this lil guy arrived today. Nice valve drive from NL, will be using it more to just warm up a signal when going direct.
  23. Strange query, but I play in a post-punk group that leads me to generate some strange sounds out of my bass. I want to explore some more strange effects, and I'm looking into getting something with a reverse delay on it. Alot of the info online is quite scattered (and expensive!) though. Does anyone have any suggestions for a budget reverse delay that isn't rubbish? Thanks
  24. Behringer XTouch universal control surface for sale. Motorised faders, LCD scribble strips - ideal for use with a laptop if you have Behringer XR18/X32R etc. I've used this successfully with Reaper, Logic Pro and my old XR18 mixer. It's just not being used now as I tend to do everything on the laptop and for mastering/editing I have a Presonus Faderport. £230 posted? (Sorry about poor pics - it's not as filthy as it looks!)
