    PaulWarning

Happy to recommend Paul to Bass Chat. A completely stress free interaction.
  3. I can’t believe nobody hasn’t snapped this up at this price! It’s absurd. I’ve got one for sale myself and I’d never let it go at this price. If I had the spare cash I’d buy this! Either, folk haven’t used one of these or, everyone is being more than coy with their money. You will never really need another amp or effects, this covers it all. Absolutely baffling.
  4. Various Source Audio midi adapters etc: 1. Midi Neuro Hub. Control Source Audio pedals via the control inputs and a midi controller. In box with extra TRRS cables but no mini usb cable. £50 posted to you in the UK 2. Two SA midi adapters, Converts MIDI to the control input on the back of a SA pedal. With appropriate cables. £25 each posted to you in the UK 3. Source Audio tap tempo switch. With 1/4" output to work with just about anything and a TRRS 1/8" to work with control inputs on SA pedals. £25 posted to you in the UK
  5. Sorry Dan, I somehow hissed your post. Just message me if still want to buy. Thanks.
  6. A pair of high quality speaker cables, manufactured by OBBM. Neutrik connectors and Klotz LY240T cable. Each one is just over 1 metre in length. £30 £25 collected. Happy to post if required, probably an additional £5-£7.

  7. I'm amazed that a pedal this good and at this price is still not sold. Anyway, time for another bump.🙂
  8. Amazed that this powerful little amp, in this condition and at a bargain price is still here.
  9. Steaky Breaky Heart - Billy Ray Cyrus
  10. I wish I was you, Dave. 😊 To hear all that music for the first time again would be sublime.
  11. If you're still using an analogue desk, I would encourage you to buy one of these digital desks and wonder why you hadn't before. I cannot adequately describe the difference the XR18 has made to my band. The sound is so much clearer and the freedom it gives people, to manage their own monitor mix etc, is game changing. It has raised our (sonic) game exponentially.
  12. Completely agree. Apart from anything to do with Morrissey and The Smiths.
  13. I don't have a problem with Wetherspoons as such, just with its owner... Similarly, when I saw the Smiths in 1985ish at Leeds Uni I couldn't get past Morrisey and his gladioli. But then what do I know, I like avant-jazz and occasional slap bass!
  14. @King Tut I’ve done the scientific weigh myself three times, weigh me and the bass three times, and then take the average difference between the two, and the bass weighs 4.4kg (or 9.7lbs for those who prefer old money).
  15. There's always a nuance to this. A singer may, indeed, be a technically awful singer, but they perform material that is popular. There are performers whom I wouldn't want to see, but a bloke with a 40 year career is clearly doing something right. Even a poor technique needn't be a barrier to greatness or popularity. The folk who play instruments around their knees are displaying poor technique, but seem perfectly capable of becoming legends. It's all very subjective. After all, if it was down to sheer ability, I'd be a musical god, but somehow I'm not! 🙂
  16. Apologies for taking you literally, but I can't disagree - Wetherspoons do a decent breakfast for the money and their beer is fairly prices. Also, I saw The Smiths live in 1986 ish at "The Tube" filming and while I really wanted them to be rubbish so I could wind up my friend who was a big fan, they were actually rather good.
  17. Threads like this are rubbish...
  18. Morning! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just some are more vocal about it than others., which is fine in itself as long as they don’t try to ‘ram it down my throat’ so to speak. Personally I’ve yet to find any type of P bass that remotely interested me but hey ho! I appreciate that they’re probably the most widely used bass ever! As regards Morissey well….🤣x
  19. Another Rodby one that came to mind after doing the one above. The tune is 'Dream Of The Return' from the 1989 PMG Group album, 'Letter From Home'. https://bilbosbassbites.co.uk/dream-of-the-return-pat-metheny-group/
  20. Any video of the bass that you are able to share? What scale is it please? Does it have a case? Many thanks.

  22. I don't need another 4-string Yamaha. But I'm tempted. Good luck with the sale!
  23. Having been on BC for a while now (and also being a bit older and wiser) I don't understand when someone says something is rubbish or someone is rubbish when they / it aren't. You just don't like it. Is Morrisey a rubbish singer, just because I don't like him (as a singer and as a person)? He does what he does and I do quite like some smiths songs Are all P basses rubbish just because they don't work for you. I don't really like super ornate single cut basses where the top bit goes right down the fingerboard but I'm sure they're very good The food in Wetherspoons. Actually I think it's ok for the money, very good value but it's not gormet and that's not expected at that price point your thoughts please
  24. Bought a lovely PJ bass body from Geoff. Great condition and carefully packaged. As others have said, a top BC'er and a pleasure to deal with.
