Get to it my friend! Don't let we Canucks down! LOL -
Dan Coggins is currently taking on repairs again, Oxfordshire based. Does valve amps mainly, and transistor/ fet ones, but not really the digital stuff. Encyclopaedic knowledge! He's great with analogue pedals too, having been the designer of the legendary Lovetone pedals... Email [email protected] No affiliation, just a happy customer and mate!

BaggyMan started following Sterling by Musicman 4HH (mods a plenty)

Nice double humbucker version of the Sub4 with some little tweaks (or major as the pre amp is rather nice). Comes with a rosewood neck, presented in an unmarked metallic blue. So mods.. As with my other Sub2 listing, i dont like the cheap looking bridge on the Sub4 series, so this has been upgraded to the pre 2017 EB stingray version. 2 band JOHN EAST pre amp. Nuff said. its the dog danglies and unobtainium at the moment. Hipshot detuner, most excellent if you are into rage against the machine detuning mid gig. I know i have done it and it sounds great. Really stable and repeatable to use. Artec pickups. I tried the stocks and a few other i have laying around and the artecs are a really good match for the JH pre. Not too hot and well voiced. Carbon fibre style car wrapped scratchplate (over the original plain white) Its fully set up, in as new condition, not a boat anchor but not silly Glarry light either, around 9 lbs, perfect weight for longs gigs. I have gigged this bass a number of times and its a great gig ready instrument. New these are £499 so priced keenly bearing in mind there are £200+ mods on board. Can ship at buyers expense (insured), meetup anywhere nearish to the M25. or pickup/try out, Rochester, Kent

One final bit of lateral thinking for accessing tap-tempo via MIDI. If the delay time can be synchronised to MIDI clock or MTC then it might be possible to use a device that can transmit MIDI clock or MTC, that has its own tap tempo footswitch, to use the MIDI timing information to control the delay time on the X32.

In this video you can see him playing a Yamaha. He also seems to be playing with a variation on the Jamerson hook. I think this is the only video of him playing bass, I'm wondering if he learnt partially from sitting in sessions with Joe Sample where he would have seen Jamerson and maybe he picked it up from him? Look closely at his fingers at 3:54. Video here

Indeed my '63 Precision does sound wonderful through my Ampeg!

There's some great stuff in here, but I get what you mean about the mix, it's tilted towards the treble too much, ensnare and cymbals, and the bass is somewhat missing. I know what it's like hammering it to get it done to the deadline and losing some perspective along the way. Your stuff usually sounds amazingly well produced! Still voted for it all the same! -

Here I am selling a medium scale (32") acoustic bass by Aria. Its a tasteful beast with a stained open pore style finish with bronze stained binding (compliments the bronze string) Comes with an onboard pre amp and tuner, so literally a plug and play situation. In as new condition. I love acoustic bass, but never seem to have time to setlle with them as my gigging schedule is busy. so pretty much unplayed and no fretboard wear. Not convinced shipping is a good idea. I have a box by not convinced the postal services would handle it very well.. Happy to discuss, or meet up (home counties) or pickup (free coffee! and nosey labrador).

If none of the above works, if the X32 supports memory dump via MIDI, then it may be possible to activate these functions using MIDI System Exclusive messages. This will involve a deep dive into understanding Sysex messages, and even if it is possible you may struggle to find a budget footswitch capable of transmitting them.

I've had these a while, using them in various amps with valve preamp stages, but my move away from such amps means they are now surplus: Mullard ECC83 - code B6B3 means made in Blackburn, third week of February in either 1956, 1966 or 1976 = £50 Mullard ECC83 - (code backward3)91 means made in Chelmsford for Mullard by Marconi, but not sure how to date the rest = £50 Mullard ECC81 - no code that I can see = £25 Caveat Emptor: I have tested them in my Demeter amp and they are all working fine at time of writing, but as always with old valves be aware they can fail at any time. Please do bear that in mind before you buy.
