… I’ve got two OC2s, but would hesitate to modify them. I know they’d be better for it sonically, but I seem to prefer originality. Let us know how easy it is to do, and a before and after sound clip would be very interesting to hear if possible please?

Not sure what precision comfort is - the further away from 16 it gets, the worse it gets at finding strings!

I got one like that, but 10x10 as I just have the one pole, and don't know if I am getting others. Seems ok, it has padding but as you said, I wouldn't put anything on it.

Amp turned up today, Factory packaging superb , should be bomb proof in transit ! All now unpacked ,manual studied, and ready to be used tomorrow night ! Exciting, it is .

I went in the middle and got a Trace Elliot Elf - can be used as very capable backup amp, but as it's got a DI and is relatively small it functions well in a direct-to-PA capacity.

I have a couple of old Wem Westminster amps and love them for bass. I saw Richard Hawley on the Coles Corner tour last night and he was using both a Dominator and an earlier Watkins Westminster (with onboard tremolo) on stage. Sounded great. These amps are very capable and last for ever! -

The whole 'kitchen scales' thing is just so declasse these days, don't you think? Here we have the intersection of luggage scales with a meat-hook ... so much more satisfying. And no, your eyes do not deceive you. The scales register exactly 9.5lbs = pretty much the weight of every decent (single-necked) P-bass in existence. -
I should probably have mentioned that it comes with the original Owner's Manual. -

My eye (yes, I have two. Don't worry...) was caught by the cool looking lever at the top of the bridge - does this amazingly manly bass have a lever that deploys the string mutes? Bet MusicMan wish they'd thought of that before adding those fiddly tiny metal round screws under the bridges of Classic Stingrays. Seriously impressed by the intonation calibration markings on the bridge as well. If Bang & Olufsen made basses, they would make basses like this. -
19.5 is unusually wide at the bridge, but the nut is 37mm, so where you pluck it's 'precision comfort' with 'jazz ease' up the neck 😁

Been meaning to go over to Andertons and have a noodle. Possibly something I could take to a pub gig leaving my Status at home…. Cant see anyone else stocking them 🤷♀️.
