In truth, I doubt its doing too much, though I do have thin carpet and a rather "hollow" sounding floor, and i do think the pad is absorbing some of the vibrations if nothing else (first floor flat).

Wood that be the Oddfellows, by any chance? I've played there a few times. Nice pub.

SR5N necks (22 fret, 43mm nut, to fit EB SR5) £480
thevintagebassist replied to Kiwi's topic in Graphite neck - ordering
I can take a stab at measurements but in the meantime if it helps, earlier this year I bought a Tony Levin OLP that had a Status SR5 neck attached to it. I bought the bass to use the neck for a Stingray 5 installation more in that later. as for the OLP body, there might have been some light sanding done to get the neck in the pocket but it seemed to fit with no modifications and I played in tune. Of course the OLP is a 4 bolt neck system to the neck was drilled differently. My tech ended up installing the neck in a Ray35 which was a perfect fit. Notably I had sold the OLP body and later the same buyer bought the Ray35 neck to install on the OLP body. Never heard back from the buyer so I assume all went well. In short, it seems the 22 fret necks were fairly interchangeable across the three models (SR5, Ray35 and Tony Levin OLP). -

problem with building a "cheap" pedal board is that you still need to get a power supply, cables, and preferrably something to mount them on and a case. Alll the boring bits of a pedal board quickly add up. That's why, IME, a multifx is far more suitable for people who either only need a simple setup or who dont require a specific set of sounds that certain standalone pedals offer.

Because Letts was kicked out of the UK for being a gigantic Jabroni? -
All joking aside I’m really not sure how a gramma makes is better for the neighbours, just use EQ and volume?

There is no harm in asking. It's a matter of how much of your time you want to spend pursuing it. If he doesn't respond favourably then at least you've tried. It's probably not worth twenty knicker to make a bigger thing out of it. Depends on how hungry the kids are, I suppose. One thing is certain. You can't give it back for a refund. It was your choice to go ahead with the project having asked for advice about it here. I don't think I'd waste time other than to mark the seller's card in some fashion. That way you know to be cautious if he crops up again with something you like.

Alibackers... I commissioned this, my design mixing the normal ric-ish 4001/3 with the 4004 Lemmy-alike as i likes a No Pickguard rear route, from a vendor on Aliexpress. A cut and paste computer job mock-up was done whilst layed up with a broken ankle, and sent to a couple of vendors.. But Ali's are 34" Scale length Thick Body, Neck raked back - think Les Paul Which was the biggest issue as it meant a BIG elevation at the bridge, The cheap ric-fake bridge overhung the body in order to intonate! It's still work in progress with a Hipshot Ric Bridge to be tried, but thats gonna need a spacer. Landed at about £250ish no inport/customs fees. If i were you - I wouldn't... The Bad outweighs any Good... How i would love a Cheyenne
