Zoom MS60B £50-60 used... it'll do everything you need and more.

Thanks. I've never used amp or can sims, I'm pretty happy with the tone of my amp and cab. Anything helix is going to be outside my budget, but the zoom pedals are on my radar.

I'm with you on that. My Shen SB100 is in perfect shape but "Peaches" my "beater bass" , a '70's Czech ply bass, is perfect for bluegrass, it has a seriously cracked finish that is actually rough if you run your fingers over it. The bass side shows some nasty buckle rash and a bad hit in the C bout that has been repaired as well as some beat up edges. Most of the damage was there when I bought it but gigs in very hot sun and also some in very damp conditions probably added some more mojo. It also had some open seams but that has been repaired and is holding well. From a distance it looks good and a lot of bass players have asked me about it, in bluegrass circles a little mojo is not a bad thing at all. It has Spiro mediums and is loud acoustically and amplifies well and it will get a good workout this weekend.😊 Yes, I know, naming your instrument is silly but "Peaches" just fits with this bass.

DV24 are still in Romford, just around the corner from PMT but DV24 are online only now. They seem to keep stock at Romford as well as Germany. Although PMT has been my local music shop, I've tended towards Andertons or Thomann as they were generally more competitive. Hobgoblin, the folk music chain have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for their shops and are offering a 19% ownership share of the company through the raising of capital. They are obviously feeling the pinch......

Do you need it for "just" effects or for amp/cab sims as well? If it's just for effects, then maybe have a look at the HX FX? Zoom B range get good write ups. Or, there's always the tried & tested Boss GT range.

Yamaha DXR 8 Active Speaker This unit has been used as a keyboard monitor and comes with brand new Yamaha outdoor semi waterproof cover and mains lead. It is in good condition although it has lost its control knob caps. Everything works as it ought to. It is in very good cosmetic condition It’s very powerful for an 8” active cab. Great little multi purpose speaker. The original woofer has been replaced with a recommended Fane equivalent. Power Output: Dynamic: 1100W (LF: 950W HF: 150W) / Continuous: 700W (LF: 600W HF: 100W) Frequency Range: 57Hz - 20kHz Inputs: XLR-3-31 x1 , INPUT2: Phone x2, INPUT3: RCA PIN x 2, THRU: XLR3-32 x 1 (Parallel with INPUT 1 ), LINK OUT: XLR x 1 Pole Mounts: 2 options - 1 straight and 1 angular socket for mounting at downward angles Dimensions: 280mm (11") x 458mm (18") x 280mm (11") Weight: 13.5kg (29.8lbs) Pickup preferred but I can post at buyer’s cost. It is very well built and the packed weight will reflect this so I envisage it will be around £20 to post it. UK only. Priced to reflect the replacement driver and lack of control caps.

Variax 500 Korean made. Good condition, comes with Line 6 gigbag, power unit and power supply, plus TRS cable (which I’ve labelled so you know which input to use on the unit). It’s a great all in one guitar, perfect for live or studio and means you don’t have to take loads of guitars with you, just turn the dial and your Telecaster becomes a L.Paul or a 12 string Ric. Might be up for a trade plus cash your way for a Tele or a Semi-Hollow 6 string. Feel free to pick up from home and have a play, or I can meet up within reasonable and pre agreed distance from Bath/Bristol area. I can post too, well wrapped up.

Yes, you’re right. This one is a bass for life so I’m not too worried.

I do agree Tom, but without the original packaging, I'd be concerned about sending this out into courier world. I also much prefer potential buyers to confirm they are happy with the item in person before they purchase. However, if a buyer would be prepared to arrange collection by their preferred courier I could source appropriate packaging.

Hi folks, selling my amazing tech 21 fly rig due to picking up a hx stomp. I've had this pedal for a few years and it's brilliant. I've only ever used it at home and in all honesty only used the sansamp/tuner/compressor functions however it all works as it should. It's in good condition, slightly dusty with a few minor marks. Original box included and will include the power supply. Price is posted in the UK. If anyone wants better pics let me know. Thanks

This photo shows the control layouts of the LM2 vs LM3. The original Combo Head was based on the LM2, the replacement Combo Head 2 was based on the LM3. Pre 2012ish LM3 were all class AB. When Markbass moved production to Indonesia in 2012 it started to use Yellow Line stamped steel frame drivers. I share your experience that class AB with B&C drivers are the best sounding version of this combo.

Anybody advise on a sensible price to pitch these at on this forum? Cheers
