The grain looks interesting enough. What are your thoughts having revealed it?
-
I like that a lot. I wonder if they might do a limited lower specced MiM or USA production run if this generates enough interest.
-
Welcome 4SR.

Not at the moment. Ive recently joined a alt rock band in Langport. We're writing and recording at the moment. Gigs later in the year hopefully. I was in a doom metal band in Devon before. My oldest daughter plays bass for Butane Skies, they're playing in Frome (and everywhere else) pretty regularly.

Well, the Nux arrived and 5mins later it was packed up and ready to go back. The well reported buzz was more than a minor issue. I guess i was expecting to hear something in the background but it was quite pronounced. I know Nux state that these arent really for solo playing, which i suppose is there way of saying the sound isnt perfect, but compared to the Lekato its like night and day. They were used (from Amazon) so maybe faulty, but Im sticking with the Lekatos for now. After another go im used to the latency and it’s not a big deal. Wish there were alternatives in this from factor/price/freq band.

It’s some sort of blasphemy, really. Everyone needs a Precision. Or maybe three.

Looks like the kinda thing @binky_bass would go for

This is something you don't see that often: A BassLab Custom DN VII, so a double neck fretted and fretless, 7 strings for each neck and weighing 7.7 kilos, which is not that heavy for such a monster. For sale at a very decent price (now) on Reverb (located in Germany, for those interested).

Steve1967 started following Spector Q4 Pro

This is my MIK Spector Q4 pro, it’s in pretty much spotless condition, there are no marks I am aware of on this bass. I bought it from BassBros a while back and love it, however I have just purchased another (sadly, more expensive Spector ) so this has to go. It’s set up lovely, sounds just like a Spector should, it has the EMGHZ twin soap bar pickups and the EMG BTS circuit and this model has a non curved body. It’s a lovely bass. I do have packaging or collection or meet within 1hr drive of Milton Keynes. Any questions, just ask. Cheers Steve

Hi all Recent left handed bass learner here (this week!) Been learning the guitar for 2/3 years and have had a hankering for the bass and so here I am! I have gotten myself a Squier CV 70s Jazz Bass and a Fender Rumble 40 and have just started the Beginner to Badass course and am loving it! Looking forward to being part of these fora!

So… all these set ups, but not many folk entering the Basschat monthly composition competition, or maybe you used to? It’s not a serious competition, just making something up based on a photo chosen by the previous months winner. September’s comp will be pinned in the Recording section sometime on the 1st or 2nd. - Today

Cheers Ray 👍 My day job space is behind that couch, with the desk facing the basses. Some days it makes me go off for little play breaks, other days it’s a motivating reminder why I work full time as 2 of those basses still need fully paying off 🙄 and i feel lucky to now have the spare room, but not the mortgage 😬 -
