  1. Past hour
  2. I had Dave, but there’s the possibility that’s my last gig with Knock Off (I’m only standing in and they think they’ve found someone permanent) so wanted to go out playing my fave type of bass. Plus with a great gig like that, time to bring out the big guns so to speak. Am a bit sore today tho…..
  3. Hi, could you send the measurements of this - length/width? thanks
  4. Not sure the guy in this Paul Smith ad knows how to play DB, but it’s good to know the instrument is in fashion.
  5. I do agree Tom, but without the original packaging, I'd be concerned about sending this out into courier world. I also much prefer potential buyers to confirm they are happy with the item in person before they purchase. However, if a buyer would be prepared to arrange collection by their preferred courier I could source appropriate packaging.
  6. Im hoping the different density of mahogany Vs pine will give it that!
  7. Supernature - Cerrone
  8. A major difference between the 300 and 400 series was that the 400 had 24 frets, and a more compact bridge with the humbucker moved further back. The body was indeed more compact because of the deeper cutaways. Some later twin-pickup ATK's switched back to the old bridge, but it placed the pickups really close together because of that.
  9. Could do an Aria SB style finish - the red stain and pale natural stripe would work really well imo.
  10. Ever buy a bass and know you will be selling it within a few hours :(

  11. I’d say it’s more subtle, although when it’s fully counterclockwise it gets nice and smooth. The few times I’ve used it I tended use it max out on either side. Greg the owner of Celebrity Pedals is very responsive on Instagram/Reverb/his own website if you want to ask for exact specs!
  12. Update: This weekend the mould for a SR5 neck with a 42mm wide nut will be constructed. Neck heel will be 68.7mm wide @ 21 fret and 28.4mm deep. Initially the neck is for myself, a sample for marketing so it'll feature some custom options such as inlays, rosewood fingerboard and maybeeeeee fingerboard binding. No fretboard extension though because of the capstan truss rod adjustment.
  13. Thought you'd moved away from the P basses @Lozz196 Looks like a decent crowd for you too. Nice stage set up. Plenty of space. Nice one. Dave
  14. For anyone in or around London, wanting to attend the Nick Smith Memorial Show in Peterborough tomorrow, I have room in the car and will be leaving from Uxbridge/Hillingdon/West Ruislip around 10.30am. Message me if you want to be my co-pilot!
  15. Oli Foxen of Ampstack used to specialise in vintage British valve amps. Used to post regularly on here but disappeared a long time ago. You can find him on Instagram, YouTube etc.
  16. Yes, they're great aren't they. The jazz club in the pic held about 180 and I didn't need to line out to the PA. It was enough. Mind you, we weren't doing any Megadeath covers😆
  17. Pardon my ignorance, but is this switchable active / passive or just active?
  18. Bump with price drop... £75
  19. Today
  20. Good mornin' to ya. DoI? You're doomed! Doomed I tell ye!
  21. Thanks for the warm welcome all! I'll keep my eyes peeled for the DoI 🫡
