Hi, I haven't had these for long (I used to own both these pedals many years ago, but bought them for the second time recently), but a recent change in musical direction has now made these obsolete. I have about 700€ invested in these and I' m looking to get back 650€ for them which seems reasonable considering the ridiculous prices the seperate pedals go for these days. I'm selling to fund some new hardware and onboard pre-amp for my main axe, so I'm not interested in trades this time, sorry.. Shipping from Belgium. Sales pitch: Up for sale is this magnificant duo of rare pedals made by Spencer at 3 Leaf Audio. The Proton is his take on the Mutron III filter and it doesn't get much funkier than this! The Doom is a unique sounding fuzz that is extremely dynamic and can get supersynthy. When combined these pedals offer a wide variety of funky and synthy sounding tones that are used by lany great artist that are looking to get someyhing "extra" out of their pedalboard (think of Stuart Zenders work with Jamiroquai, Tim Lefebre, Janek Gwizdala,...) Due to the very limited production these are very hard to come by and they keep going up in value, so finding a set like these two is quite a rare opportunity. Up for sale are my Aguilar DB112 cabs in Boss Tweed. Probably the nicest cabs I've ever owned! They've have been used but well looked after, a couple of small scuffs here and there. Come with hot covers which are a little bit worn but still plenty of life left in them. Only selling as I don't realistically need them anymore and they sound too good to be sat doing nothing. Looking for £350 per cab. Collection only from Stone (Staffordshire). -

It looks like that driver comes with its own gasket already fitted. So, you won't need any foam. I wish other driver manufacturers would do this.

I seem to have made things more complicated than necessary by mentioning using foam gasket to seal the back panel. Please ignore, and glue the back panel in. I'd still suggest using screws to ensure that the panel is firmly glued to the battens. If you drive the screws below the surface, you can fill the holes with wood filler and sand.

New and unused Ebony C extension unit for a double bass ready to be fitted by a luthier and is ready to be shaped to a bass. Lovely ebony and lovely strong big clips for ease of use. To fit this extension you will need: 1. Atleast 12mm thickness of ebony at the top of the ebony fingerboard on the bassside (where the note F can be found). 2. Thiscannot be fitted if the front of yourscroll sits forward of the neck projection line. 3. Theneck projection line is the line where the maple neck and the ebony fingerboardmeet on the side of the neck. Project this line up over the peg box to thescroll. If your scroll sits forward of this then this extension CANNOT befitted. 4. Themaximum (or standard) scroll height for this extension if the front of yourscroll sits on the neck projection line is 245mm 5. Forevery 5mm that the front of your scroll sits back (minus) from the neckprojection line, the maximum scroll height is increases by 5mm (inversely theminimum height decreases by 5 mm) 6. Its not bass related but in the 90's, when at University, my Dad was an avid car boot sale visiter. I was doing a project on why VHS prevailed and Betamax failed, so I asked him to see if he could find me an old Betamax machine that I could use to demonstrate the differences in design. He duly came back with a machine with a box full of free tapes, all with well known movie labels on them. I was pleased to find the machine worked, so set about testing it with the box of tapes. They were all p**n films.... I had to re-record over them before I could use them for my Uni demo. One of the tapes was marked "Jimi Hendrix Live". After I told that story at a job I later worked at, it became a running joke that if anyone was sharing mucky videos around. the question would be "Is Jimi Hendrix on tour at the moment?" -

Silent Guitar breaks down into a very small, convenient carry case. 9v Battery powered, has mains adaptor input too but no power supply included (or needed really, batteries last ages). Headphone output, with volume and tone controls plus 2 reverb settings. Aux input so you can play along to your fave tunes, all without disturbing the family while they watch Strictly. Indeed it should! Each time I needed to move the amp I had to get my partner to help move the cabinets, and it felt like that children's 'Towers of Hanoi' puzzle, lifting the pieces of the puzzle from one place to another. Except each piece is 37kg! Wheels are definitely the way forward -

***PRICE DROP NOW £1300*** 2010 US Stingray, 2EQ, CAR with rosewood board. One of the limited edition 133 basses, full fat ‘ray but with a soft gig bag case instead of a hard shell job. This is in excellent condition with one very minor ding on the top edge, and the pickguard is quite marked but obviously easily replaceable. Comes with a Hipshot D-tuner (long key though instead of short… doh), if you want the original tuner key I’ll chuck it in. I’ve also replaced the pickup with a Nordstrand MM4.2, which sounds flippin’ great. She’s quite heavy (10lb) but with a decent wide strap it feels ok. ***EDIT*** now comes with the option of a Warwick Rockbass semi-rigid case - photos added. Loathe to post this but can at buyer’s (insured) expense, or can meet in person at either Portsmouth, Southsea, Southampton or Lymington (I’m on the I.O.W.)-

Mine is passive. I swapped the pickup for an Aguilar AG-4P for more vintage tones. I've had other basses with the Sandberg 2 band EQ and I've never thought that the detent position was actually flat - more like a little boosted on both knobs. Just back the bass knob off a bit if you need to. It's a P pickup so it's also very easy to balance output by adjusting the pickup height on one side or the other. Makes a big difference. I also think that the "30 inch sound" is a myth. There are sounds for particular 30 inch basses - like a Mustang with it's unique pickup, or the woody thud of a Hofner Beatle bass - but after owning 3 shorties all with P bass pickups in them (a variety of passive and active pickups) - they all sound like a precision and different string choices have just as much impact as on a 34 inch precision too. They sound so much like "proper" precisions that I got rid of my proper ones as the shorties are so easy to play. If there was a 30 inch sound then there would be a 34 inch sound too - and just listening to a P and then a J shows that's not true. If you take out the Lionel's pickup and preamp and put a Mustang pickup and passive loom in it, and a set of La Bella Mustang flats - it will sound very close to a Mustang and not the same as a P bass anymore. IIRC the Mustang pickup is not quite in the same place as on a P so there will be a little difference for that.
