  2. The Czech-Ease is a full sounding bass with an abbreviated body that makes it more portable than its full-bodied cousins without losing the true sound and feel of a double bass. The instrument is one of choice of Dave Holland, Esmeralda Spalding and Chris Wood.. These basses are now discontinued, but this particular bass is in perfect condition with no marks or scratches. It has only had one owner and limited home studio use, and has not been used for gigs. It comes fitted with a Gage Realist pickup and adjustable bridge. It also comes with a well-padded gig bag.
  3. Sorry to be pedantic, but did you mean 9 volt? GLWTS, by the way.
  4. Upgraded to a Payson Bridge Upgraded to a Graphtec Nut F# B E A D G Black, wood style top on Body + Matching headstock. Up for sale is my Dingwall NG3. A reluctant sale, but I’ve just taken delivery of a custom bass and I had the NG3 to fill the void in the interim. I’m its second owner, and have added the bridge, nut, and the neck illusion inlays. When I bought it, it did NOT come with the factory NG3 pickguard, therefor the sale doesn’t include it. Previous owner has filled in screw holes and done the Body+Headstock wood style cover. I’m not sure of the condition of the front face of the body, and it doesn’t look like any scratches around the wood covering, so likely knife-less tape was used. The back of the body and edges are in excellent condition, so hopefully a good indicator. Sale includes Dingwall Gigbag, Original Nut, Original bridge system, Dingwall tool kit, and its original strings (for BEADGC tuning). Pick up is in London, a 3 minute walk from Farringdon Train Station. I can organise a courier at the cost of the buyer. I have a box that the gigbag fits into for sending. However, for extra I do have a few hard cases I could use if preferred. Should you want any extra photos, or details, just let me know.
  5. May 16th 2007. Doesn’t time fly… How many basses have I bought and sold on here - maybe 25? Made a lot of friends too, and learned a great deal. If I manage another 18 years I’ll be pushing 88🤫
  6. Yes, it was. It's a great bass, I did a gig with it today and it did well (me a bit less so!).
  7. I'm just a young whippersnapper, joining a mere 13 years ago. I know nothing of this legendary Bassworld other than the stories passed down by the elders.
  8. The Who. A pair of tw*ts!
  9. I bought my Anagram a few days ago, it’ll be with me in the first week of July 😮. I’m certain it’ll be worth the wait though, we’re looking at going ampless in the next year, and this looks perfect for my needs.
  10. Careless whisper - George Michael
  11. Congratulations on the wedding! Good luck with quick sales for these amazing pedals too!
  12. I Heard A Rumour - Bananarama
  13. Zak out, Scott in to finish the final tour apparently. Pete says Zak has left to pursue other projects and Zak said he was fired. It's all refreshingly untrained and up close PR compared to the Foos and their faceless radio silence, I must admit.
  14. I’ve realised I had the filter set to 4 string on the soapbars, which offers BC and EMG, quite rightly the 5 and 6 strings etc offer a wider range of shells.
  15. Great pedal and totally agree re blending. Never sure why that was not a feature of the pedal….
  16. Hi Guys Since I got some decent pitch shifting presets on my HX Stomp the EH Pitchfork has become redundant. in good condition, has original box and power supply. Will post at buyers expense. I will take PayPal f & f or standard if the buyer pays the fees
  17. I feel seen by the artwork on this one 🤣 looks incredible!
  18. The newer versions of the Barbernera have the fast/slow switch as an internal switch. I never found much use for the fast switch on bass 😬

I hope it’s not going that way… just bass gear innit. But there is always gunna be crossed wires when a million people put out a video and we have models, captures, NAM (which are called models but are really what QC would call captures) and neural has nowt to do with NAM despite having the same name. aye that Peggy to me sounds like it’s modelling the pre of a proper SVT which you would have to work hard to make drive. I would always use something else with it to drive it. On the bright side it sounds excellent and half regretting not making my gigging presets with it.
  22. Only thing that’s different is the fast/slow envelope option on the Moog.
  23. Yes, it looks great. If you have time to string it up and see how it plays, and whether the weight is truly an issue, I'd be grateful.
