  1. Past hour
  2. I echo this as I have been fortunate enough to hold one of these marvellous creations @Jabba_the_gut you might also like the work of @Simo
  3. Whatever works for you but I'm slightly confused as to why you would need to use a capo with a 5 string bass for songs in Eb or D unless I've read the post incorrectly. Also can you get capos wide enough for a 5 string neck? Not sure if it would have sufficient pressure for the low B.
  4. Especially if that something is a belt πŸ‘
  5. Yes, those pesky children and their ridiculous demands for food, clothes, warmth and shelter. I mean WTF is that all about.? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  6. Actually I made a mistake. It had Nordstrand Big Singles originally. That’s where I was confused. I don’t have the original pickups. I already sold them. I updated the ad with the correct info. Thanks for the heads up!
  7. My point was that you can make it sound p bass like. Think outside of the box
  8. Even worse when it’s no socks?…. No good for me, my feet are always cold . πŸ˜…
  9. The snare trigger is intriguing by itself!
  10. Excellent condition, now surplus to requirements. Rehearsal use only. Clean Velcro applied to underside. Original packaging, power supply & manual. Price includes UK postage. Collection most welcome
  11. I’m looking forward to pictures of your creations.
  12. Today
  13. Just got the next update for testing, which includes my idea.
  14. looks like a nice day out
  15. As new still sealed in packs, 3 sets available Β£10.50 per set including postage. I have been trying various brands of strings on a number of basses, whilst these are very nice I'm going to Dunlop's for my fretted Warwick. To my ears the Eden's seem similar to Rotosounds, maybe not quite as 'zingy' initially.

  16. This amazing emulation of the acoustic control corporation 360 preamplifier with variamp and built in fuzz is up for grabs. Hand made by the renowned JC Maillet and commissioned and imported by myself at great cost. I have used the 360+ for studio recordings, gigs, rehearsals and at home, it has never dissapointed. The preamp sounds fantastic and the fuzz section is the best I have used. I have owned this pedal for a good few years from new, as can be seen it's in pristine condition. Specially sourced UK power supply also included. Will happily run from other sources with the right leads (I used it with a trex chameleon). Fully detailed printed instruction manual also included. Only available as I have more preamplifiers than I can use. Try out/collection always welcome, or UK insured postage for Β£15.00
  17. Welcome aboard!
  18. Fingers crossed you can come @Geek99. And, more importantly, that the job situation works out.
  19. We're not sorry - we're very appreciative! πŸ€“ πŸ‘
  20. Evening chums! I have a TS100 soldering iron bought a while back. Changing the tip this evening and somehow dropped the little countersunk screw that holds the tip onto the body. I have searched for ages trying to find it - the workshop is now absolutely spotless! - but I still can't find the blessed screw. Anyone happen to know what thread the screw is, or know where I could get a replacement? It's less than M3.5, but I have nothing smaller I can try.
  21. I always equate boutique bass to people that have to have that bass because cheaper basses dont offer everything they 'need', but they also play much cheaper basses most of the time because they dont want to take the expensive one out, even though these offer so much less as far as playability goes 😎
  22. Don't worry, I'm maybe too sharp for a 60 years old guy and I've always had an excellent memory despite a very bad car crash that crippled me in 2009.
