  2. Trades - X Touch Universal, maybe Alto TS215. Great bass in good condition, comes with hard case. Short scale. Not a heavy bass. Plays well. Not really any damage to speak of. There’s a little bit at the top of the headstock (photographed) but looks much worse than it actually is. I’ve removed the strap lock pins and replaced them with the originals that were odd when I got it. The case is old but fully function and all the clasps work. Can post at buyers expense or can be collected from BB22SH Any questions please ask.

  3. That IS a nice Fender.
  4. Come on Man! It's Judeo Christian prog! I mean, I don't know what that's supposed to sound like but still......
  5. I saw that one! update soon
  6. My eye (yes, I have two. Don't worry...) was caught by the cool looking lever at the top of the bridge - does this amazingly manly bass have a lever that deploys the string mutes? Bet MusicMan wish they'd thought of that before adding those fiddly tiny metal round screws under the bridges of Classic Stingrays. Seriously impressed by the intonation calibration markings on the bridge as well. If Bang & Olufsen made basses, they would make basses like this.
  7. Have you ever considered a different hobby?
  8. Very little used since Covid, time to move it on. Comes with all the little bits of cabling etc. Condition is as near pristine as you're likely to find. Full specs are here: https://philjonesbass.net/cms/product-ha-1/

  9. Very decent piece of rack gear, equally suitable for studio or live use (I've used it both ways). The two multi-way cable clips on top are there by self-adhesive stuff and will remove. I found them useful enough to choose to leave them there for the new owner. The original box is present, as seen in the photos, but not the polystyrene inserts. I'll use bubble wrap for postage. 10. Luxury! Why, when I were a lad ...
  11. Goddammit it sounds good too! That's really not helpful.
  12. Hello. 14 year is a long time. I can only manage about an hour and a half maximum.
  13. Great to play some very Dusty Hill...
  14. I've been asked for dimensions on this amp: W = 21" D = 9.75" H = 9.25" (+ handle)
  15. I’m hoping they’re moving to Scotland, but I’m not holding my breath .
  16. I had one of these, or at least the original Cub. It was bought for home use and proved perfect. I then coupled it with a PB300 powered cab and used the combo for gigs. I took it to a full rehearsal and it wasn’t able to keep up with the acoustic drums, but that didn’t come as big surprise. Since then I have become a complete Phil Jones fanboy, I bought and used a Bass Buddy with the PB300 live of many gigs, then I I sold the Cub and BB and currently use a Phil Jones Flightcase, which is great for home, keeps up with a drummer in the studio, used it for a recording session and, again with the PB300, live on many gigs. Those 5” neo drivers are brilliant. The BG110 could definitely be louder, but that’s down to the small enclosure, not the potential of the drivers, IMO. If you can find a used Flightcase, I’d recommend one of those without hesitation.
  17. Is it? The one near me is nearly £50 for a 3hr practice in the room big enough for 2x guitar players along with band. Theres staffed practice rooms at nearly half that with better gear and you don’t have to compete with the band in the next room either
  18. I assume that was tongue in cheek 👍
  19. According to my Vernier it's 44.4mm.
  20. Absolutely this ^
  21. Fabulous pics of an amazing local gig @wateroftyne glad you and the band enjoyed The Fire Station, looks like an incredible night was had by all, it really is a superb venue 👌🏼
  22. Heavenly Homes - BeBop Deluxe (I haven’t shoehorned these guys into this thread for quite a while now).
