  2. Hi Terry. I have had some interest – maybe things are just slow these days. I'm surprised it's still here, to be honest!
  3. Hi. Here you go (from the Gator site)... Length 12.50" Width 19.00" Height 9.00" Cheers!
  4. PRICE NOW DROPPED TO £300. Easily the best speaker cabinet I have ever used: am downsizing to lighter Genz Benz cabs as I rarely play live now. The Eden D210XST Cab is loud enough to be heard and yet still small enough to be used at home or in a small studio. For those players who need a portable, high-performance rig with even more low end than the XLT, Eden has designed a 2 x 10" cabinet for their XST woofers. Punchy and clean, the D210XST produces a full and clear tone through its two 10" speakers. It's excellent for delivering articulate bass lines with volume. This 2 x 10" cabinet handles more power than many 4 x 10" cabs on the market. The D210XST offers huge bottom end with its cleverly-designed tuned and ported cabinet construction and speaker selection: the low end is full but tight, the mids are open and well-defined and the highs are clear and crisp. Durable build quality makes this ideal for touring and live performances. All Eden enclosures are constructed with 5/8" thick void free plywood with full dado and rabbet jointing. Massive internal bracing prevents vibration and keeps the sound deep, tight and clear. Exclusive Eden Cast Frame loudspeakers and Eden Cast Bell low distortion tweeter horns are designed, hand-built and tested in their own factory in the USA. Very Good condition. Comes with an official Eden cover. Power Handling: 500 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms Speakers: 2x10" Eden-spec Eminence EC1060XS speakers Tweeter: Eden Cast Bell low distortion Crossover: 3.5KHz @ 18dB Frequency Response: 30Hz - 14KHz Sensitivity: 103dB SPL Connections: Parallel 1/4 Inch and Speakon Dimensions: 23" w x 18" h x 18.5" d Weight: 59lbs / 26.8kg NOW ONLY £300. Collection from East London preferred, although happy for buyer to arrange a courier.
  5. Due to redundancy and needs, I am selling some gear... the first one to go is my EBS MicroBass 3. This has been one of my favourite pieces of gear - it does all I need it to - great pre-amp, good drive, surprisingly good compressor, a tuner and a quality DI - along with an FX loop. In very good nick, solid pedal! Comes with the 2 switch knobs and the velcro (lol) Comes with the original box, and an 18V power supply. Price Exludes P&P - anywhere from a fiver to a tenner depending on the buyers preference of postal service. PayPal F&F only (else it chops off a little for some reason) In the Old Harlow Area. Many thanks Julian, aka Glassmoon
  6. I'll try those settings, thanks Yes mainly pick player but occasionally I dip to the dark side and use fingers/thumb Should sound epic with my HW 4003. A mate of mine played me a track recorded with his Rik and the V4B, sounded huge
  7. The message types with names are just that and that’s how they appear in any MIDI controller (such as Morningstar). Program Change is just PC. Note-on/off are the messages sent when pressing and releasing a keyboard key; velocity is a value associated with that which is derived from how fast you press the key. These are messages you can also assign to button presses on a controller. Say if you want a Morningstar button to play a drone.
  8. Do you have a home ?
  9. Walrus Audio Canvas Mono DI/LI. Selling due to downsizing my board. Great little pedal with with switchable pad, ground lift, and summing options. Adds a nice bit of colour too! There's currently velcro on the back, but easy to remove cleanly. Located in Devon. Can meet in person if nearby, or buyer decides on/pays for postage. Here's my feedback thread:

  10. Pedaltrain Jr Classic with softcase. Selling as I'm downsizing my board, so this is no longer required. Solid board, lightweight, and the bag's in pretty good nick. I mounted my Cioks power supply to it so there are a four badly drilled holes currently covered by the velcro. The velcro adhesive must have melted near a stage light and it dripped onto the paint on the back, but apart from that it's a goodun. Located in Devon. Can meet in person if nearby, or buyer decides on/pays for postage. Here's my feedback thread:
  11. Apparently, yes. But I couldn't find enough information to confirm it does exactly what I want. For example, zero pitch steps (pauses) and sufficient ADSR between steps so two steps of the same pitch don't blend into each other. Also getting some punchy attack helps with the analogue feel to the synth sounds too. The step blending has been a problem with the Cooper FX Moment Machine and the Eventide Pitchfactor (both of which I still have). I'm wondering whether the H90might also have the same issue with blended steps. I also have purchased an Alexander Pedals Colour Theory earlier in the year which I'm investigating but the UI isn't ideal for complex editing, however the designer is responsive so I might bounce ideas off him too. Failing that I'll probably get an SY200 like Al and draw a line under the whole expensive exercise.
  12. Line 6 HX Stomp XL, selling due to downsizing my board. It's in pretty good nick, it's spent the majority of its time on a pedalboard in a protective case. It currently has some custom and purchased presets on it, but I can reset it back to factory if preferred. It comes with velcro on the back, the rubber feet are in the box. Located in Devon. Can meet in person if nearby, or buyer decides on/pays for postage. Here's my feedback thread:

  13. Break a string!! LOL
  14. How do you mean? I've not touched it since I've had it, left it as it came from BB's.
  15. I agree it was an interesting read but only that. The older Version was well able to keep up with the new. In essence the old and new are two completely different amplifiers. The 'magic' of the old units may not translate to the new ones. Just because an amplifier is old doesn't mean that it is a pile of crap! It is, after all, the older units that created the reputation of the V4B in the first place.
  16. The question was what could do it, not about budgets. You wouldn’t really compare thr H90 and SY-200 otherwise
  17. Hi, fellow basschatters, My wife and I are downsizing so some things just gotta go. What we have here is a no brand Baby Grand Piano that has been in our possession for over 20 years. It has brought endless joy to our family but it sadly wont fit in our new home. It's in good condition, although some of the keys are chipped at the edge. (youngest son was the culprit some 18 years ago or so.) It also comes with a piano stool. We don't want anything for the piano but you will have to arrange your own transport. Collection from Fleet in Hampshire and we have to have it gone by the 6th August. Thank you, Pete
  18. Don’t use Ultra Low or Ultra High ( it doesn’t need them ) although if you’re a pick player Ultra Low is nice to use Mid selector 800 HZ was my preferred It was easy to get a good tone with bass mid treble using above settings and balance gain / master volume to taste Mine was running master volume around 12 o clock at loud gigs and it was not breaking up which was the sound I wanted Naturally if you crank the input gain it will sound more raspy etc etc It sounds better as the night wears on as the power tubes get nice and warm Finally never turn it on without cab connected !!!

New Video...Thank You for any feedback.
  20. Good idea! I might be able to find some BC funds to pay for such an attendance if we are able to agree on someone that fits, who wants to come anyway and doesn't need convincing with cash (which is how I ended up being a chippendale)
  21. As far as I know, yes. It's the satin finish - Natural Velvet finish. I'll be able to tell you if it's ever been refinished when I pick it up tomorrow...
  22. Finding people who do stuff for free is tricky, especially if they have to travel any distance... Lee Voss from Andertons came a few years back but he's now mainly on their video side. I can invite him as I know him...
  23. I really like D'Addario XTs when going down the coated route.
  24. £££spendy though? I picked up my SY-200 £175 used.
  25. Late to the thread but interesting reading here. I previously owned a 63 500/1 many many years ago and recently bought a Harley Benton Beatbass VS to experiment with. I can tell you that it's Chinese, it has a hollow body with a block underneath the bridge, though it doesn't span the whole width so the bridge feet are still in open air, floating on the facing so to speak, and a small block right at the end which the string anchor and strap button is screwed to. The string spacing is 15mm, the nut width is 42mm. Once the upper strap button is repositioned to the neck heel like a later Hofner, it balances pretty well considering the string tuners are normal size. I have been looking for a short/medium scale true hollow archtop body 5 string bass with a floating bridge in a price range I could afford but to no avail. So anyway, this used HB turned up for sale locally for about half the new price last year. The experiment was to see if I could convert it to 5 string. I went a bit further than originally planned... It's now a 5 string fretless with three 4-wire humbucking pickups and a piezo bridge. The pickups are wired like a Strat i.e 5 way switch and two tone controls, the piezo has a tone control and it has a master vol and pup/piezo blend control. Because of the string anchor arrangement, it uses standard long scale strings (can't find short scale 5 string flatwound sets for sale) String spacing is now just a tad over 11mm (slightly more between B and E strings) and sounds and plays superbly. I still have a couple of things to do to it, like the Gilmour mod so I can add the bridge pup to the neck pup. It sounds like my old Hofner with the addition of a more double bassy sound from the piezo.
