  2. They flew 117 drones into an airbase and systematically targeted and destroyed specific individual planes carrying cruise missiles. Reportedly 34% of Russia's cruise missile capability was lost in that one attack. That's not setting off a bomb and hoping you do a load of damage and scare people. And while those drones were each piloted by an individual operator back home in Ukraine, you can bet there's a ton of AI being used to assist and identify targets.
  3. Sounds like you’re sorted and if you need to look again I think the Fender Rumble Combo 500w would be the way to go
  4. Made in Japan, well used with plenty of scratches (see photos). Plays and records really well. No whammy bar. I’ve used it for home recording and it sounds fine, good variety of sounds. Only my playing lets it down.

  5. Thanks for your comments-yes a truly beautiful looking and sounding bass.
  6. So I tried the speaker at home, couldn't get it to go wrong. I took it apart, and checked the switch and the socket, they were fine, very solid. I disconnected, tested and reconnected the power terminals, and they are also solid, so I put it all back together. Had a gig on saturday, also open air, but also one we put the whole drum kit through so just in case of issues, I brought my BC speaker and an amp to drive it instead of the bam, in case there is a drop out. And it was rock solid all day, so who knows what that was about, the sound was great.
  7. Hi. Here you go (from the Gator site)... Length 12.50" Width 19.00" Height 9.00" Cheers!
  8. Thanks, Terry – much appreciated, mate. It's too good to be a backup!
  9. That's an absolute beauty! I'm thinking of selling my Vigier 5 string and a few other bits, love the Vigier but I just miss having a Warwick 5 string so much. If I manage to get the funds together in good time I'd be very interested!

  14. I've used this wireless for over 5 years for every gig, rehearsal and home practice, and can honestly say it's never put a foot wrong. The unit is powered by a normal 9v pedal supply, and when you plug the receiver in it syncs and charges. Has velcro on the bottom. Price includes UK shipping.

  19. My ususal playing time is 10-11pm, so I use mutes and plug in to a headphone amp. That doesn't help when I start singing though.
  20. I use a Puma 900 with a Bareface Super Twin or a Schroeder 12PL, I did have some trouble at one point but I think that was down to a bad speakon cable/pub electrics not 100% sure. Love it, super clean and no hope of running out of volume!

  22. It would be a bit impractical to have effects pedals powered by IEC connectors. Wall warts should be reliable as long as they're looked after - wrapping the lead round the plug is a good way to damage the lead.
  23. I'm going to need a slightly bigger room and am going to be building a cabin around it, or possibly a cabin that is it, so I'm selling this once again. If you're podcasting, or doing a Prince and recording masterpieces instrument by instrument, this is a bloody nice unit. Big enough footprint for a Jazz kit, sufficient height for a 3/4 double bass, low-noise fan and lights in the mix also 👍
  24. I'd consider trade/PX for a high quality bass amp, ideally large (I'm no fan of micro or lightweight). Mesa always my preference but anything in that top-end gear space could work 👍 I'm also moving on my UAD Apollo X4 interface here
