  2. Bloody hell. Twenty grand for a bass. Can you imagine the amount of lego I'd need to buy The Wife if I was to get that? Sheesh. Thankfully I don't like it, so I'm safe. Mark
  3. You Can’t Hurry Love - The Supremes
  4. Totally micro-timey, man...
  5. Ridiculous!! Probably the best bass for sale here and virtually no interest!!! A bump is the least I can do...
  6. This amp is now £400 on Amazon. Incredible. I will drop the price for the amp, adapter, pedalboard and case to £500, which is still a good deal I think, but I really cannot go any lower. If it doesn't sell at this price I will just keep it as a spare.
  7. I picked this up from @Basilpea not that long ago. It's a great cab, but it isn't a cosmetic match to my other AT210, so being the fickle person I am I want to replace this... It's got some small dents from being gigged, but overall in good condition and absurdly light. You can pick it up with two fingers! It's also very loud. W52 x D33,5 x H57 cm 600 watts at 4 ohms 103dB SPL Also comes with GR Bass soft padded cover. GR say: The lightest 2×10 bass cabinet in the world. Thanks to its size, lightness, and power, the AT 210 is one of the most versatile cabinets in the entire catalog. Suitable for both small and large live shows, it allows you to always have your sound with you. With the AeroTech line, you can have the incredible innovation of our Carbon Fibre cabinets combined with the Pure Sound of GR, which is the pure sound of your instrument. Incredible sound, lightweight, power, impact resistance, and a beautiful modern design. I'm afraid this is collection only, as I don't have anything suitable to ship it in. No trades either thanks. I'm using @Basilpea's pictures, which I hope he's okay with.

  8. And if she came home with a £20k handbag ? There are limits
  9. Today
  10. It'll probably be more like 68mm I think, the same as on a Steinberger and Status. I've updated the number. I'm expecting the distance from the 12th fret to the end of the heel to be 224mm but I'll confirm once the necks are ready to be inspected.
  11. Here’s my TC Electronic RH450 in used condition. Everything works perfectly - this is a proper workhorse of an amplifier, and small/light enough to use as a backup when gigging. Collect from Chesterfield (5 mins from M1 J29) or I can post for an additional £15. Cheers! Sam

  12. Yes, a 38mm nut is possible...(I thought the stingray was already around 40mm?) The construction process involves carving a wooden form first and that can be adjusted in CAD/CAM software before milling begins. But for batch every order slot has to have the same specification because the batch is based per mold and the main way I keep the price down is using a MoQ. Otherwise it's a custom order with a custom mold.
  13. Trace tone you can lift comfortably. Handles a low B with ease.
  14. That bloodwood wishbass is lovely. Is the headstock as massive as it looks? Overall, is it the same kind of length as a standard 34 inch scale bass, so it would fit in a gigbag?
  15. Love For Sale - Talking Heads
  16. Crikey, that’s lovely. Great work! GLWTS, someone’s going to get a real bargain.
  17. Surely one of the criteria for being a keeper is tolerance of said wood-based purchases...?
  18. Annoying. Couldn't find the A-B footswitch that I normally use so I can switch between my bass and the guitarist-who-owns-a-bass's bass so I was unplugging mine and plugging in his, and vice versa. Unfortunately the jack socket on his amp is right next to the volume control and it's dead easy to knock it, which I did, immediately before playing "Wish you were here" and "Make me smile (come up and see me)". So I was rather close to silent on both those (I didn't know where the volume control was until afterwards). Oh well, another A-B footswitch is on its way from AliExpress.
  19. BT12. As new condition. Was fitted to a 2018 Jazz Elite. Price includes UK postage.
  20. That sounds like a very narrow heel. Also, distance from 12th fret to end of heel would be useful.

  22. Number of Strings : 5 Number of Frets : 24 Scale Length : 35" Number of Pickups : 3 Number of Controls (switches/knobs) : 8 (two stacked, 1 switch) Mark
  23. The most unpleasant 5-string I've owned (briefly) was a Squier Standard Precision Special V, the same as that but with J pickups and a 4+1 headstock. Nasty thick neck. Put me off FSO 5-strings. Soon after I bought it, I took delivery of an Antoniotsai 5-string and the Squier got sold immediately.
  24. Year Started Playing : '88 (I think) Number of basses : 10 (damn you, BassChat!) Music Theory : -10 Technique : About 3 Groove : Records? Bloody hell my stats are rubbish. Mark
  25. Either of the Gotohs depending on budget and weight requirements, or Hipshots will likely fit. I have the 707 and the Hipshots and they're both excellent.
